We enjoyed the dinner of superb shrimps with couscous, salad with warm chicken and melon, finished with creme brulee. Breakfast was also tasty and full. All staff speaks English well. There is also a sauna for extra charge. Overall looks like a great place for celebrations as well as (in our case) a one night stay!

I haven't checked the historic background yet but it feels like maybe this could have been a hunting lodge of some king or lord. The house looks amazing, is very cosy, super well equipped, has a sauna, two toilets, two showers and a large beautiful garden/yard. I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track.
