We had a wonderful stay. Everything from the warm welcome to the comfortable setting exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained and the entire hotel carried a subtle, personalized scent that added a touch of luxury to the experience. We have spent six nights in Hyatt Regency Taghazout, and it felt like six nights in heaven. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warm smiles and extremely polite and friendly words. In the whole stay we only experienced positive, obliging and helpful staff members. From the hotel we could reach the surrounding villages without problem. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and definitely has the well known Hyatt standards. The rooms are sparkling clean and very spacious, the beach and pools and inviting, the fitness rooms are inviting and last but not least the breakfast is AMAZING! We left the place relaxed and happy, and the vacation was a blast. I absolutely recommend and will definitely choose Hyatt Regency if back in the area.

    The View Agadir is an amazing hotel!! I really wanted a beautiful resort but with good service and good quality amenities as it was a milestone birthday for my partner and the hotel delivered 100% on everything. I love the breakfast spread and the bonus is that all the servers and chefs are so cheerful when prepping the food and offering the options to you. All the staff were super helpful and very accommodating even for last minute requests. For me, I had pre-informed the hotel of my partner's birthday and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make it extra special. They prepared snacks on the house on day 1 for us. On his actual birthday, they decorated the room nicely, and even gave us a very nice looking and tasty cake with everyone saying happy birthday to the birthday boy! it was such a fantastic surprise even to me! I truly appreciate how caring they were and most of which was by their own discretion which relieved me from a lot of pressure and stress. I am already planning my next relaxation trip to definitely include the hotel/resort! it is worth every penny!

    Agadir is such a beautiful city with a perfect mix of relaxation and culture. The beaches are stunning, the atmosphere is calm, and there are plenty of great restaurants and spots to explore. The people are warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A lovely destination to visit, whether for a short break or a longer stay.

    Lovely resort with great surf. Old fishing town which meant there was some noise in the morning. Nice restaurants and stalls and 3 different beaches walkable from centre. Not sure if we were unlucky but there was noise/music in early hours a couple of nights.

    Lots of building works.

    Lots of building works. In 5 - 10 years this place will be like the Bali of Morrocco. Some really nice chilled cafes and restaurants, some attached to hotels. Great views from the cliff tops so you can watch the surfing. Good vegetarian food, smoothies and drinks. Loved Imi Surf house for meals.

    There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

    Of course! Here's the revised version including breakfast: --- **Great Surf Camp!** Ecobaysurfcamp was an awesome experience. The instructors were friendly and professional, making it easy to learn and improve. The location offers beautiful waves suitable for all levels, and the relaxed atmosphere made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and energizing, perfect for starting the day’s surf. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable surf adventure!

    Riad was authentic Moroccan style. Loved being there. Ocean was close by - about 7 minutes walk - and we loved being on the beach and hearing the sound of the waves. Guided hiking was great and we enjoyed bartering in the souk in Agadir. We visited a women's collective on our way to the anti Atlas with great organic oils and an educational tour of the gardens. That was fabulous - no pushy selling. We ate mainly in the hotel but there were many good places to eat inexpensively near by. Getting around was easy - taxi for us. We liked walking in the village for an authentic sense of Moroccan life for ordinary people.

    Imi ouaddar isn’t a true representation of what I think Morocco is like. It’s soulless, lacks charm and I would recommend visiting somewhere else if asked. It’s a massively rushed developed area without any thought or interest in what I would say in its truest self, the real Morocco.

    Great beach which accommodated everyone in our group. People are lovely and so invested in the visitors enjoying their stay. We travelled out to the surfing beaches which were amazing and easily accessible by taxi.

    Beautiful location by the sea, but our hotel experience was a disaster. Suite smelled of sewage for days, complaints were ignored. Only after three days were we moved. Chaotic buffet, rude manager who even refused soup for our toddler. Absolutely not Hilton quality – I would not recommend this to anyone.”

    Very good spot for surfing, but keep in mind, that this is a village, and facilities there are limited. You have several restaurants, some shops (food, everyday necessities, souvenirs and surf stuff), surf rentals, a pharmacy, one doctor, one Western Union office and that's it. Pharmacy and one of the restaurants take cards for payment, the rest is cash only - make sure you bring enough with you. The surf lineup can be somewhat crowded during the high season.
