The camp organised a pleasant 2h camel ride at sunset, at a leisurely pace with photo opportunities. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious with the addition of fresh fruit which was very welcome. The tent was very comfortable and spacious and the evening program organized by the camp sounded cheerful and fun. Sadly my partner and I did not partake as we were a bit tired with some flu symptoms and therefore preferred to sleep in early.

Location was great and the staff were really helpful and friendly even it’s difficult for them working during Ramadan(without food and water at daytime ),but they were always on their way to make our stay comfortable thanks to Ibrahim,hassan and our driver 4*4 driver omar👍

Most of it..good dinner and average breakfast .Rooms are quite basic but deserves the price and for one night no problem,we stay outside for star gazing until 2am and wake up at 6am to seeing the sunrise… Mohamed and youssef were very nice and accommodating.The campfire at night with the berber dancing were entertaining.

Great place right next to the dunes. Literally down a few steps and you're on the dunes. Very peaceful and restful, plenty of nice shaded seating looking out on the dunes, a magical place to sit and watch as the light changes on the sand. Fantastic generous breakfast, best I had on the whole trip + really comfortable beds!

I booked 1 night The accommodations were stunning, the food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the camp and the excursion were extremely well planned. The men were fantastic, taking pictures for us and driving back, and the camel ride was amazing. Fantastic experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect and the structure itself was very nice. Quite photogenic with the pool in front of the dunes and nice pool facilities. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We were lucky to get the rooms with the view. The staff were very friendly and kind. Most of them even spoke italian! We all enjoyed our stay!

- exceptional service - incredible food and waiter service. Ability to request/ personalise your meals and the menu always changes. Flavours and quality of the produce was exceptional . Food lovers truely will remember your meals and will be a highlight of your stay. - the rooms were very comfortable, large, soft bed, and Airconditioning allowed us to visit comfortably during the summer. - Organising tours was as easy as making a request and it was done - The price per night was cheap when considering the level of facilities and services from the staff - The hotel design was very luxurious with Moroccan incense burning + water feature in the entrance hallway adds an additional luxurious touch - A true 5 star experience in a remote part of the world - Surrounded by the stunning dunes with a direct view to the large dune when your in the pool. Made us feel like we were in the sand dunes on our own while still being in comfort - unlike staying in a camp - Again the staff were incredible and allowed us to have a very memorable comfortable stay during the summer month of July

Desert Villa Boutique Hotel Merzouga is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and we highly recommend to book with them. Youssef, Amar and the rest of the staff were incredible and made our stay one to never forget. The hotel is beautiful with so many incredible details, it’s like stepping into one big piece of art. The view from the room and the rooftop terrace is incredible, the delicious breakfast is of the highest level and the room was super clean (plus the shower is amazing). The location is perfect and the area felt very safe. If you just want to chill out then you have a wonderful pool area. if you are looking for activities then Youssef has you covered as well: he will get you camel rides, quads, guided hikes, etc. for a very fair price. If you need to do remote work (which we had as well for a day) then the WiFi is fast and reliable. This hotel just has everything you need for an unforgettable time. But most of all, the warm welcome and sincere smiles is what make this place magical. We felt at home and truly cared for. We will absolutely come back.

    The Kasbah Mohayut is ideally located next to the Erg Cherbi, your desert playground full of adventures. The property is laid out as a walled compound with common facilities in the middle -indoor and outdoor restaurants, bar, terrace overlooking the dunes, beautiful pool and outdoor lounge areas- and rooms on the outside. The architecture is based on traditional adobe Kasbah and features beautiful patios with bougainvilliers bushes and rose beds. All of the property looks and feels exactly like its online pictures: full of charm and traditional berber architecture. Th outdoor dining area is divided up into charming small nooks separated by plants, flower beds, and gazebos, making for charming meals -which are well prepared and tasty. The large pool is luminous (although quite cold in November) and is surrounded with loungers and semi-private spaces that ensure that everyone can enjoy this beautiful space without feeling crowded in. The rooms are large and very clean featuring separate shower rooms (with plenty of hot water). Altogether a highly enjoyable stay -we will definitely come back.

    The location was just perfect. Nestled among the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, of all the desert camps we saw when doing activities. Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps had the very best location. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in the Sahara Desert. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they answered our every question. They were extremely polite, welcoming and kind and made our stay memorable. All the activities we wanted to do such as camel trekking and Quad biking were right there at our finger tips and organised by the staff whenever we requested something. The camp was so peaceful and the ambience in the desert was surreal. I would recommend a two night stay so you don’t have to rush away and can enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert in a leisurely way.

    Very nice, typical hotel, personalized welcome. Outdoor parking on site. Relaxing atmosphere. Very pleasant pool with an exceptional view of the dunes. Second pool heated to 32 degrees and clean... wow it's wonderful to swim there in the evening with a starry sky. The food is delicious. Beer and wine at a reasonable price. Extraordinary, helpful and supportive staff. A detour is essential to discover this wonderful place, located at the gateway to the desert. One of the best places to explore the dunes. Asphalt road to the Riad.

    Air-conditioned room, essential for Morroco winter and 🌵desert. The facilities are real good, I feel like I am in a hotel room. Big and clean, with comfortable beds. The place is close to dunes, you can easily walk around and see the desert sunset and sunrise. Dinner is served with four courses and included in the price. Really good dinner and tasty! The camel ride to and from the camp is 40 euro p.p. which is a reasonable price I think. The music is good as well. We enjoyed a lot in erg chebbi sand dunes!

    Our stay was amazing. Idir is a fantastic host. Every tent gets assigned a point of contact, for us this was Youssef. He made sure that everything was perfect for us. It is definitely recommended to stay 2 nights to do the Jeep tour. We drove through the area and the desert for about 4 hours with Youssef and it was truly amazing. The tent also has a very good and warm shower, the best we had during our 10 day trip through Morocco.

    It was the perfect place for us to meet and get some rest the night before heading to Merzouga! Hassan is a lovely person and was super helpful in getting to and from his home. His home is extremely clean and spacious. Hassan was a great host! I would highly recommend his home.

    It's a real mountain village..people are friendly but rough. Wanted to visit the wedding festival but unfortunately the dates available on the internet were incorrect. If you are interested in the wedding festival then please contact the local hotels to get information.

    We had an amazing time at Auberge Les Roches! The property is charming, with a peaceful vibe and beautiful views. Our room was spotless, and the comfort level was excellent. The food was fresh, homemade, and delicious. The staff treated us with such kindness and helped us organize a perfect desert excursion. Highly recommended!
