Our time at Auberge Todra Gorge was truly special! Located in one of the most stunning canyons with some of the most beautiful skies in Morocco, the setting was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself perfectly blends rustic charm with sophistication, offering quality and comfort. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, and we can’t forget to mention the adorable four-legged intern, who added such a lovely touch to our stay. It was the perfect place to recharge our energy before continuing our adventure to the desert. The shower was nice, the food was delicious, and the music added a wonderful ambiance. Auberge Todra Gorge is yet another unforgettable gem of Morocco. Thank you for everything!

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Africa. All staff were extremely helpful, and what you see is what you get: splendid rooms, extremely well attended garden and an immaculate service. Truly a little oasis in the middle of the desert. The only bad thing: the UV was more than we could handle, but well. See you again next year for Marathon des Sables!

This is an extraordinary place, I had the impression that I had traveled somewhere in time. I am impressed, everything was coherent. The interiors are beautiful .     My husband and I were visiting Morocco for 3 weeks. When we entered the gates of Domaine Villate Limoune we felt like we were in a different world! It was like coming across an unexpected oasis - it was beautiful. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to the Royal suite which was a wonderful surprise, but this wasn't just a suite. It was a completely separate area from the rest of the hotel. The suite had a bedroom, a dining area and a huge sitting area for at least 20 people. Outside, there was a private pool, outdoor seating, a separate building with a pool table, grand piano, bar, music system and many more facilities. This was an excellent area for a variety of functions - I wish we had all our family with us! The hotel and restaurant area were very elegant and decorated to a very high standard. There were 3 more pools, a spa, a mini zoo, quad biking and horse riding. We were only there for 2 days and I am sure there were other activities and facilities we hadn't discovered. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place. Overall, this hotel was totally unexpected, beautiful, unique, a very high standard with efficient and friendly staff. Staying here was one of the highlights of our time in Morocco and we would love to come back for a much longer stay.

    Stayed here for 5 nights with a pure focus in relaxation. I requested a quiet room as I am in my early pregnancy and wanted to rest properly. Sami and his other colleagues welcomed me upon arrive and they all have been amazing. Got a requested room provided and I was very happy with it. Everyone in the staff was super nice and friendly, felt welcome and they were always happy to help with anything. Great attitude! Sami has been exceptional and super friendly. A person I got along the most and seem to be very professional in his job. Breakfast was good, the pool was nice and the beach access was also pretty cool. My double was just fine, I didn’t mind it being a bit dated, I think it was actually really pretty Moroccan style with a very comfy bed. Wi-Fi in the room was not working and the gym is not good unfortunately, but at the end I was just fine using it in this limited version :)

    This is one of those very special places, that you are very lucky, if you find it. The view is stunning, the food is great ( also the breakfast, you get honemade jam, fresh orange juice...) The pool is so nice, the people are so nice and welcoming and the rooms are really pretty! I dont understand why someone would not find them so...I have been travelling all over Marocco and this is defenitly one of the nicest places, with a great peaceful atmosphere and a true little paradise surrounded by stunning landscape. Also the room was extremly clean, I dont know how a room could be cleaner. It is extremly beautifully decorated with great taste.I miss it allready. Many thanks for a great stay! Corinna

    With Studios to visit one day and Ait Benhaddou the next. While each place takes half day each to visit take two days and enjoy the relaxation around the hotel. Staying at The Atlas Studio Hotel your next door to the studios. But a drive for anywhere else

    The Riad Caravene is fantastic in every way.

    The Riad Caravene is fantastic in every way. The riad looks like something from House Beautiful with beautiful spaces and lovely art. The rooms are gorgeous, the common spaces lovely. Particularly nice are the two terraces near and at the top of the riad, with great views in all directions and lovely furnishings. The small pool and deck on the ground floor also were lovely and a perfect spot after walking around the ksar. The staff were wonderfully helpful and the food outstanding. We would return in a heartbeat if our travels take us this way again. Thanks to all!

    There are some great surf spots within a short drive and...

    There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

    You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again. I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. They'll dress you up in traditional wear and take photo's for you. They even took me with to the Souk in town. Highly recommend.

    Interesting town with souks and a historical setting where Ali Baba the original film was shot . A local man attached himself to us and ended up giving an informal guided tour. The restaurant we had a lunch was tasty and not expensive. We missed a horse candle cart tour offered at our hotel which would have been better use of our time and visit.

    We had a sunset tour on the camel organized from the Oases...

    We had a sunset tour on the camel organized from the Oases Tiloqui luxury Hotel, and it was great. From Zagora is 75 minutes by car to reach the location where you can also spend a night in the tents, that it can be quiet unique. We stay only for dinner after the camel tour. Pity that the bivouac was pretty neglected.

    Easy and cheap to get to via shared taxi from Agadir. A sleepy, friendly town with an assortment of cafés, restaurants, grocery shops, butchers, bakeries and a weekly food market incl. fresh fish every Monday. Three amazing local beaches to choose from and an easy day trip by local bus to Sidi Ifni for the amazing Plage Lagzira.

    People are so welcoming, full of history and beautiful 17th century kasbahs, palmeries are amazing places to visit, artisans create stunning work (textile, pottery, ironwork, basketry) and our guide Larbi was brilliant. Thank you🙏

    Fantastic landscape, crazy views. Dar Blues hotel is the best place! Original legal, real products from your local coopérative shop... not to be missed! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064267473555 It's on the main road! ! It is recommended arriving at the hotel before dark.
