World class excellent hotel. Check in and check our process nice and easy. Location, state-of-the-art premises, super helpful staff, immaculate. Excellent and abundant breakfast with vegan options. Though the hotel was not fully booked, it seems that facilities have the proper dimensions when at full capacity. We really had a fantastic stay!

We loved the rooftop accommodation. Ideal for friends travelling together, single beds, and the option of an additional sofa bed. Great host, unexpected lovely breakfast included in the reasonable cost. Our host found us further accommodation in Kotor, when they couldn’t accommodate us for any more nights, which was greatly appreciated. The original room was modern and had everything we needed. It is ideally situated, within a 5 minute walk of the Old Town. There is a supermarket and restaurants within a couple of minutes of the hotel.

Exceptional service, facilities and location. One of the best views we’ve ever had in a hotel room. We LOVED the breakfast - all high quality and delicious. The location is a 10-minute drive from Kotor and Perast. This ended up being perfect as it felt like we were in a little sanctuary here. Our bed was extra comfy and we slept well. When leaving, we forgot an item in our room and they were able to send it to our next location. This just speaks volumes about the extra effort they put in to take care or their guests. The receptionist was superb - extremely helpful and likeable. So very grateful for having been able to stay at Vizura. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family! Vizura is definitely where you want to stay in Kotor.

    We loved our stay at Monte Cristo, which was a wonderful base to explore Kotor Old Town from. We opted for the airport transfer from Dubrovnik which was incredibly helpful, and right from the off the staff were attentive, engaging and polite. We learned some history about the Kotor Bay region during the drive to the hotel, which I personally really enjoyed. In terms of the hotel itself it's located in the perfect spot in Kotor Old Town, away from the main square, in a little back courtyard, which gives you a bit of respite from the busy crowds. Hotel Monte Cristo is fantastic, I'd give it a 10/10 and would love to return in future! Highlights 1. Breakfast - this was included in the price of our room, due to being a Genius Lvl 2 member, and I'd not ordinarily opt for breakfast, but it was a great spread of continental selection i.e. meats, cheeses, breads, olives, cucumber, capsicum. As well as cereals, pancakes, mini croissants (amazing!) and loads of fresh fruit. The watermelon was brilliant. 2. Staff - I need to shout the staff out, they were so helpful all of the time, went out of their way to help with heavy luggage, housekeeping was always incredibly clean and efficient. 3. The Rroom - we stayed in a Standard Double Room, located directly adjacent to the main reception which initially made me a bit aprehensive for noise/disturbance, but it was totally not and issue and once you've closed the windows and shutters it's surprisingly well soundproofed. The bed was mega comfy, we had a cute view of the courtyard below which was nice, and the ensuite bathroom was handy with your useful amenities in terms of hairdryer, soaps etc. The room, like the hotel, is styled in a vintage/old-fashioned manner which we both really found to be part of the magic and it felt sort of fairytale-esque, at the risk of sounding like a prick haha.

    We had an amazing, relaxing weekend here. A bit far from Kotor (hard to get a taxi from there), but this place is more peaceful and uniqe. The staff was really nice and helpful. Loved the beautiful scenery, the best around the Bay of Kotor. The yoga class in the morning was cool and refreshing. Zoran also took us to the airport with perfect timing. Can't wait to go back.

    Anderij (the owner) was so nice, gave us tips on what to do, we arrived near midnight and he still stayed up to help with checking in and payment was done the next morning. All staff were chatty too which is great, room was clean and great value for money the view from bedroom was amazing

    Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the...

    Beautiful old town, essential to take a boat trip along the bay to view the majestic mountains. The cable car is also a great activity, not only do you get a view of Kotor Bay but when you get to the top there is a lot to explore. The roads are very busy so it takes a while to get around. Essential to book a taxi before you arrive at the airport as the taxis from there are very expensive. Absolutely amazing scenery. Very busy old town as cruise liners arrive daily.

    Dobrota is a short walk from the old town. It is best to stay outside the old town if you have a car. The walk to the old town is along the bay, so you won’t feel it is a long way. Seafood is great at Dobrotski Dvori restaurant in Dobrota! Lovely restaurant

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay. We were there in August and there was no public events, parties, or other entertaining options. You have only few local stores, a bakery, few restaurants, and a beach to enjoy. The only road leading through Prcanj is pretty very stressful to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners and yes, count with many stops and much longer ride because of busy traffic. If you need more contents, Kotor is a very nice city to visit nd not so far.

    Good self catering apartment equipped with basic kitchen utensils for cooking. Would be helpful to have some necessities such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, which guests staying only a few nights as we did, are unlikely to purchase. Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms means the apartment would be particularly good value when shared between more than one family. Good base for exploring Boka Bay, though there are options closer to Kotor if this is your main reason for visiting. All in all we found the apartment a great base for our short trip. The pool area was lovely with sensational views. We would have liked to know that there was no cafe/ bar on site however, as the photos showed, as this was part of the reason we chose this particular apartment. During the day we ate at Tramontana Beach Bar which was lovely - a bonus was the children’s play area. We had a day out exploring Boka Bay with a private hire boat company - Taxi Boat 65. We found this to be an excellent way to make the most of our short time there and our skipper to be very knowledgeable and informative. On this day we ate at Ribarsko selo - a fish/ seafood restaurant accessed by boat. The setting was beautiful and the food wonderful. You do need to book ahead.

    The town has lovely old buildings .

    The town has lovely old buildings . However, it is like walking through a shopping arcade full of tourist tack. Lots of bars and restaurants. But very little genuine residential buildings. A beautiful town inundated with tourists.

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture...

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture perfect. Love that they have stopped cars entering the town. Restaurants along waterfront were all excellent, staff polite, helpful and spoke good English. Easy boat taxis to Our Lady of the Rocks. Seems to be a popular destination wedding venue, especially at weekends, but this just adds to the buzz of the town. Love love love Perast!! Two days is perfect.

    Nice small place, great with family with children.

    Nice small place, great with family with children. Small beaches, nice and quiet. City center is small but has a nice park and you can find great cafe with excellent cakes. There are restaurants on the seashore that has nice food. There is also museum "Rimski mozaici" that we didn't visit cause it wasn't working but we heard it is great.
