Probably one of the best hotels in Budva! It's brand new, extremely clean, with very reach & delivious breakfast. Staff is super polite, helping us with everything needed for our pleasant stay in Budva, arrnging even last minute hairdresser! Perfect location, 5 minutes walking distance to old town. The beach front view was just spectacular. And if you don’t drive it is easy to access a bus stop close by but not certain of the schedule. The staff were amazing as well. It is clean hotel with a good variety of breakfast. Be mindful that there are new constructions around the hotel but there was no noise from there. So nothing negative.

I loved the location and the facilities of the venue. The rooms are always cleaned when your at breakfast and the staff are very helpful. Got locked out of my room and the staff gave me a key, very understanding and kind. They all spoke english very well. Definitely worth visiting budva. The hotel is close to old budva, with many restaurants, bars and clubs close by.

In the room we have not only bedroom and bathroom but also the living room and extermely big balcony with the see view. Hotel is located near to the beach, and very good taste restaurant. I liked pretty much evertything about this hotel. It is on the beach, but also on the main road to the centre of Herceg Novi. The interior is modern and spacious with swimming pool and spa. The choice of breakfast is very good. The staff is very kind and they surprised my son with a birthday card and a cake which was very thoughtfull.

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

The town is blessed by a glorious setting, the emerald green bay with steep mountains as a dramatic backdrop. The town itself is graced with more stylish Venetian palazzos that you can shake a stick at. But Kotor also suffers from the curse of colossal cruise ships, which can flood the tiny town with hundreds of tourists at once, even in October. There are lovely walks either side of the bay with cafes that have the most scenic views imaginable. It's a good way to get away from the crowds and to enjoy the spectacular panorama. If I had my time again, I would spend three nights in Kotor instead of six and spend at least two nights in Perast, an improbably picturesque spot.

It is a typical city on the Balcanian coast. The main big problem at the moment is a heavy traffic when you enter the city from the east or south east. You spend a lot of time there and if you go for attractions in the neighbourhood, you have to calculate with this, In fact, it is a waisting of time. The problem occured because the works on the road, but it is really a big delay and there is no police, nobody who regulates that

I visited both Tivat and Kotor, but the Herceg Novi area is definitely the best place to stay around the Bay of Kotor: the most beautiful, cleanest, calmest, nicest vibe, better price level (e.g. accommodation, restaurants, etc.).

Ulcinj beach area is for the most part quite dirty and littered. There are people prepared to scam you readily. We did like the fortress area and found a cleaner beach near there (Liman Beach) that we quite liked.

I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial, a bit ugly and not very well looked after.(Sorry Bar, maybe I didn't go to the right places!) Wanting to visit places that are not yet wholly given over to tourism, is a two edged sword; it means that the 'pretty views' are often obscured by something utilitarian and not pretty! I took a taxi boat to Sutomore beach, which was a lovely trip and incredibly good value. The beach and water was fabulous but I think every person in the whole of Montenegro had had the same idea and the beach was extremely crowded. My reason for visiting Bar was to do the train journey from Bar to Belgrade, which I had read was one of the most beautiful in Europe. It did not disappoint and made me forgive Bar everything!

Perast is a magical place, almost removed from time.

Perast is a magical place, almost removed from time. The situation on the waterside surrounded in all sides by mountains is breathtaking. The walk along the promenade each evening is a rare pleasure. There are plentiful good restaurants inside Perast itself as well as local oyster and mussels farms a short walk from the town, that serve delicious food. The boat trip to the island and the Blue Cave is also well worth doing.

Sutomore is a cozy and fairly quiet town, without much nightlife or loud activities — a great place for those who prefer a calm seaside rest. Just a small tip for travelers arriving from the airport: be careful when choosing a taxi, and it’s safer to use official ones.

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around...

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.
