The town was a big disappointment — the beach feels like a construction site, with houses and villas built right up to the shoreline. No natural shade, lots of concrete, and sharp stones when entering the water. Restaurants are overpriced with bland food. I found the town itself not quite my vibe but the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. When I need to come back I will make sure to rent a car so I an explore more. The town is a great base for that with everything you need for convenience. Just not much to do in itself but great as a base to explore the region I think. I did find a nice ancient Roman path with ruins just walking distance from my accommodation. It wasn’t mentioned on google maps or in local signage.
