Comfortable very wide double bed. Refrigerator Water-cooker Big TV The cleaning staff of 03/17 wheb we came back we saw that they even folded our clothes. If you live in room 103 you could just walk out the door to the ice machine and get cool drinks. Everything was clean and the staff was so polite, respectful and even helped to book tables at restaurants. First night a man I think is called Gibson I don't know how to spell it. He helped us with our check-in and gave us a map and wrote a lot of good places to visit before he went for holidays. The next evening the man Manish helped us with booking a table at a restaurant so we didn't have to walk around to find a place to eat. Insta gr am south.swedish.viking

I and my family needed the place near the airport to survive the flight cancellation. They made our room ready before official time 12 instead of normal 14. We had to leave next morning very early. Therefore, I don't know about the quality of the breakfast, but, I can tell that they assembled nice "early leaver package" for us. They also organised a cheap eCab taxi to the airport (6,5€) . From ordinary tourist point of view - the Sea was just some bus stops away, so we enjoyed a sandy beach (Il-Bajja s-Sabiha) and about 20C swimming water (in beginning of December) in Marsaxlokk.

The hotel is located in the center, but at the same time on a quiet street. It is important that the hotel is after the reconstruction of a historical building - everything is new, clean, beautiful, tastefully decorated interior and rooftop pool overlooking the harbour. What I like most about the hotel is the staff - everyone is very friendly and genuinely willing to help. On the day of arrival, there was a lovely girl Marina, who told and showed everything. But the most interesting thing happened on the way out of the hotel and this confirmed the level of preparation and attitude towards the hotel's customers. I forgot my watch and jewelry in my room and remembered it at the airport. Everything was like in a James Bond movie. I called the hotel, after 5 minutes they collected my things, sealed them and called a taxi. The taxi left for the airport and Pyne sent me a screenshot of the route and the car. And she sent me the movement, and when the taxi arrived at the airport, I was already waiting at the entrance. I received my things 5 ​​minutes before boarding. It was a quest and a miracle. I would like to thank Pyne from the front desk for their professionalism and excellent customer service.

Got upgraded to a junior suit and had wonderful views of the city and the sea. Check out process was smooth and they were very accomodating. Bed was comfy, the rooms were clean and everything seemed well maintained. Booking in this hotel has made our vacation even better than we expected! We highly recommend it!

    The Hotel is amazing. Cosy, clean and the staff are super friendly. A good choice of restaurants to choose from and they all taste delicious. The Sunday lunch is exceptional though. Variety of foods to choose from and they cater for all nutritions. The Hotel's location is very convenient, close to the promenade, multiple restaurants and bars around as well as very close to the Bus Terminus.

    The staff at Double Tree wwre very accomadating. I did not realise when booking the twin superior room for my family that their was no bath available in their lovely bathrooms. I wanted one for our baby and they ended up getting us a baby bath withing a few hours!! They were so helpful and really friendly towards children.

    It is very busy in St Julians and Paceville is geared up for the youngsters. There was loads of people near the pubs and clubs in Paceville. A lot of people just barge past you and have no etiquette. Bars are mixed with some are cheap and others are expensive. Same with restaurants. You need to research the area to get the best deals on bars and restaurants. There are late night supermarkets open. Bars and restaurants open late too Spinola bay and ballutta bay are more scenic which has lovely views. Be careful when crossing the road as there are a lot of cars and there are not many pedestrian crossings

    The beach was clean and sunbeds with umbrellas were great. They even provided a separate towel to lie on. This was a small cost for the use of it all day. The bar and restaurant weren’t part of our hotel but just a stones throw, so perfect. Lots of rocks to lie on and ladders used in parts to get into the sea. St. Paul’s Bay is a pretty town with shops, restaurants, and beachside cafes, easy to get around using ferry and Uber.

    Sliema is very nice location, but having only very rocky beaches. There are many restaurants and coffee bars, the food is good, but not cheap at all. You could walk along the seaside many kilometers- on both directions (La Valletta and St. Julian).

    Valletta is not really a city for the elderly or less able. Very hilly streets and some of the paving can be rather slippery at times. Many holiday homes have very steep stairs or even stone spiral stairs. These look lovely but not always suitable for less able holidaymakers. You need very comfortable shoes because the best way to see the city is on foot. Lots of cobbles and uneven surfaces. Not meaning to be negative, I love Valletta, but telling it like it is. My favourite restaurant is Ta Kris in Sliema. Lovely place, excellent Maltese food, my favourite being the local ravioli. For snacks, the Museum Cafe is a little treasure, full of character and great food.

    Great location. near Valetta. Very good connection with other places on Malta, by bus or boat , or car. If you use rent a car, pick up the smallest car wail in Mata isn't many place to parking. Delicious food on streets or restaurant is some kind of mixed food from all world.

    Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed...

    Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed enormously in the last 25 years, I think it is still one of the most charming parts of Malta. There are dozens of bars and restaurants, a fair few of which I have visited and every one was excellent. I could not fault the village in any way I would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination. Although very hilly, I believe that is part of its charm and I have stayed in other parts of Malta, all of which have their own attraction.

    Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. A fabulous array of super high quality restaurants (not cheap). TalFamija and Nargile Lounge were particularly good along with Legends for cocktails.

    Msida is a great location to stay being perfectly placed to...

    Msida is a great location to stay being perfectly placed to visit the busy areas of Valletta, Sliema and St Julian's. The marina is amazing with some of the best restaurants in Malta just a short distance away on foot or by Uber or Bolt. Buses run to all parts of the island from stops within walking distance of the centre. Breakfast at the Busy Bee in Msida is a must as is a visit to their ice cream parlour in the evening.

    Not your normal seaside holiday resort.

    Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.

    Having travelled around GOZO and MALTA for 2 weeks you...

    Having travelled around GOZO and MALTA for 2 weeks you realise it is a small place and you can get everywhere within 30 mins. We could have stayed in Valletta and done a day trip to here and it would have been enough.
