I rarely write reviews, but with such outstanding service, I just can't help but give a perfect 10! I want to thank the hotel team for their warm welcome. They have their own speedboat that takes you from the airport to the island. At the start of the island, an electric bus picks you up and brings you directly to the hotel. What follows is a delightful surprise and a seamless check-in to a cozy room with panoramic windows, refreshing air conditioning, and a stunning view. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for: The complimentary island tour. The fact that the most beautiful beach on the island is just steps away from the hotel. The delicious breakfasts and dinners. The daily room cleaning. The nighttime fishing experience. Atif’s assistance with excursions, where he acted as a guide and ensured everything went smoothly. The team also provides plenty of free snorkeling gear, including masks, fins, and vests, which was fantastic. Special thanks for surprising my brother with a birthday cake—it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Atif, Ahmed, and the entire team—you’re the best! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

100℅ best place at island to stay with family. Enough space in the room and really modern design. Amazing view from the room and you can observe ocean and sunrise from your balcony every day. We had a fantastic vacation. Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. It took only five minutes to the beautiful beach. The food was also fantastic and varied with very large portions. And the most important: The staff is so great. They were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ravi, Nilan and Noor. You really are such great guys. If we ever come back to Rasdhoo we will stay in the same perfect accommodation.

Staff is the best ever! Amazing people, with whom we shared 11 fantastic days! We became friends with Isha (Ikko), Liv, grandma, Siro, Ali, Nade and pretty much everyone else - cooks, cleaning staff etc. (apologies for mistyping or forgetting to mention your names :)). They helped us so much and made our stay a dream come true! During our stay thanks to the excursions Perla organized for us we saw and swam multiple times with whale sharks, mantas, turtles, pods of dolphins, sting rays and also swam with nurse sharks and went to a beautiful shipwreck for snorkelling. On top of that they sent us amazing go pro footage from the excursions for free! We saw local traditions and sampled exotic food during a local festival and it all felt like being part of one big family. We went for a day to a fancy resort nearby but honestly, we would recommend Perla over any modern resort as in Perla Dhangethi you have everything you need on an exotic local island for the fraction of the price one would have to pay at a resort and as a bonus you meet so many cool people from around the world! We will definitely come back soon!

    The house reef really worth to go and see there for: it's just few steps from the shore with many fishes, live corals, anemone fishes (clownfishes), baby sharks, some sea turtles. We were even lucky to see one Manta. We enjoyed free snorkelling equipment. Only be aware that there are always strong currents arround the island, but we thought they are pretty safe. Besides - water sport instructors organize a free snorrkeling guide twice a day. We enjoyed a very good soundproof of the water villa, even on strong wind / waves day / night. The food is always fresh and tasty. The wi-fi is pretty good. We didn' lock the door of our water villa - we felt very safe there. We enjoyed a Vertical reef and Coral garden excursion - highly recommended. There is some very good vibe on this island which you can't love. It's not a cheap resort, but it's worth 100%. Some day we'll come back :)

    We stayed for 4 days in a water villa with a private Jacuzzi and 3 meals included. Everything was exceptionally great! The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was beyond our expectations, special thanks to our guide Ali Shahil. Literally all the staff were very kind, helpful and available all the time. The place is peaceful, spotless and immaculate. You can walk around the whole island barefoot even in the restaurant. The food was AMAZING, with wide range of variety, so many options for halal food, live cooking and more. It was an open buffet at the main restaurant. Daily activities are available like cruises and snorkeling trips that we enjoyed and definitely worth experiencing. Out of many resorts I have been to around the world this is by far the best one. Worth the money.

    This was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.

    The resort was just the right size; neither too big or small. They seem to cater for couples rather than families which meant there were less people at the resort allowing the staff to be more attentive. Everyone was super friendly and the service was 5 star along with the food. We know of a few couples who visited Meeru island for their honeymoon and we did a lot of research and comparisons with Meeru but chose diamonds Thudufushi, and we have absolutely no regrets. Highly recommend this resort for couples.

    Beautiful well maintained resort. The staff were friendly at every interaction. The buffet was great, and the drinks, cocktail and wine selection was extensive (Must try the Espresso Martini!).     Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    Great Island, plenty to do and good snorkelling straight off Villa. Food, people and facilitiies were great - cannot fault. Deluxe water villas were a bit tired and really need a refurbishment - other than that great time in Kuramathi...

    We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommend

    I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

    Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

    It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there...

    It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than...

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

    Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals.

    Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.
