I had an exceptional stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail, ensuring that my check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The hotel’s facilities were impressive as well. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning with a wide variety of fresh options. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach but tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. I also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which was provided when I left the hotel. Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfort, and amenities made for a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Imran is an amazing manager! He manages the place like his own and very attentive to every need. Staff was cheerful and attentive all the time as well. To be honest our stay was beyond our expectations 10/10 and if I could give more than 10 I would! A couple of things that the staff did was very heartwarming. Even-though I didn't mention that we came for holidays in Maldives for my mums birthday they've checked the dates and noticed it and prepared a special surprise for us! It was very unexpected and made us feel cozy and happy! The second thing that amazed me is my SD card for the underwater camera didn't work and Imran managed to bring a new one from Male! He organized all our outdoor trips/excursions etc. In short we will be back when we have time for sure. Thanks for everything!!! Darya and Anna

Grand Hotel is a newly renovated accommodation (partly under renovation) the rooms smells nicely and are clean. We had full board and all meals were served in the second floor restaurant overlooking the whole area and partly the sea. The food was excellent, we were surprised how good the Italian specialties were. The local dishes were also good and traditionally slightly spicy. Only water was served with the meal and the portions were not very large but we didn't mind, perfect for swimwear :-) Don't forget to take repellent even for breakfast (repellent gel was on every room for free, it was very helpful). Thanks to restaurant manager who takes a really good care of us during meals. Bicycles were not available and unfortunately it's quite a walk to the bikini beach, and it's over an hour walk to the romantic end of the island we chose it for. Whether you walk along the beach or through the town and jungle, it really is a pleasant walk. The area around the hotel and the beach is nicely maintained and clean. Shaheen is the young but very experienced manager of the hotel, he always helped us with everything and took us on great excursions and especially because of him we were able to snorkel with the whale shark and mantas. Shaheen, thank you for everything again. We will definitely recommend this accommodation to our friends! Thank you to the Sand Grand team for an unforgettable experience

I stayed here for a week with my mother. My mother was abroad for the first time, and she was very happy! The owner of the hotel Ishan did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The staff tried to change the food for us, first from fruits there were watermelons, and then papaya, from the main course they served fish with rice or pasta with chicken and there were different vegetable salads and even potatoes a couple of times. The fish was cooked very tasty. You can ask Ishan to rent bicycles. We were given the opportunity to ride for one day for free, it was very nice. We will gladly stay with you again if we are in Toddoo.

Staff is the best ever! Amazing people, with whom we shared 11 fantastic days! We became friends with Isha (Ikko), Liv, grandma, Siro, Ali, Nade and pretty much everyone else - cooks, cleaning staff etc. (apologies for mistyping or forgetting to mention your names :)). They helped us so much and made our stay a dream come true! During our stay thanks to the excursions Perla organized for us we saw and swam multiple times with whale sharks, mantas, turtles, pods of dolphins, sting rays and also swam with nurse sharks and went to a beautiful shipwreck for snorkelling. On top of that they sent us amazing go pro footage from the excursions for free! We saw local traditions and sampled exotic food during a local festival and it all felt like being part of one big family. We went for a day to a fancy resort nearby but honestly, we would recommend Perla over any modern resort as in Perla Dhangethi you have everything you need on an exotic local island for the fraction of the price one would have to pay at a resort and as a bonus you meet so many cool people from around the world! We will definitely come back soon!

This is the 5th time we were in Maldive and among all local hotel that we had been through, Belmar beach gives us the best experienced. Below are the reasons: 1. The hotel room & toilet were clean and very functional - I would give a rating of 9 out of 10. 2. We have a beach front room and was very convenient to the beach with beautiful view and lots of privacy, the beach was clean and not even dry leaves, (everymorning there will be cleaner cleaning up all the dry leaves) - 9 out of 10. 3. The in house reef was also another plus point, without the need to travel any place further and we get to enjoy our snorkeling - 8 out of 10. 4. Everyday , we enjoyed our lunch and dinner there because the hotel has a very good chef. We are not easy to be please with food but for this chef , we give a thumbs up - 10 out of 10. 5. Activities - we went for lobster hunt and we had 2 lobster plus 1 fish catch for our dinner. we went for sunset fishing trip and we caught 19 fishes in 2 hours. They knows exactly which is the spot to catch the fish, so Sunset fishing is a must go activities, likewise for Lobster hunting. and we have 4 fishes for our beach front dinner , which was a surprise arrangement by the hotel staff - 9 out of 10. 6. The island is very well located , as most activities are not too far away from the island and that make it convenient without having to take hours just to reach the activity location - 9 out of 10.

Excellent value for money! Spacious room and bathroom, very comfortable king bed, shower that provides a relaxing bath. The owners, Ahu and Mapple, did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Each day, you can choose between two types of breakfast, the continental and the Maldivian. We can’t recommend this place enough! The staff at Sun Beach Dhigurah were incredibly kind and accommodating to both me and my partner during our 3-night stay. They even arranged for us to go snorkelling -free of charge. It was an unforgettable experience, and we had an amazing time being shown all the aquatic wildlife the corals had to offer. The staff were also very helpful from the moment of arrival - taking our luggage for us and getting us to the accommodation. They were great with organizing excursions, getting us to them and making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We asked for some bikes to cycle the island and they delivered them to the door of the accommodation and accommodated us when we asked to keep them for the next day- even though we asked around 9pm. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfy- enough for a 12 hour sleep after lots of sleepless travelling. They always topped up the coffee, tea, and water, which was helpful for our early starts hunting the sunrise on the sandbank and for the whale shark tour we did. If you're looking for a place with warm hospitality, great experiences, and top-notch service Sun Beach Dhigurah is a great place to stay. For the cheapest accommodation we could find on Booking, it surpassed all expectations and then some.
