🌴Our stay at Bageechaa Stay was nothing short of spectacular!🏖️ If you’re visiting Dharavandhoo Island, this is the place to stay. From arrival, Shihab, the incredible owner, welcomed us warmly and ensured every detail of our trip was seamless. Whether it was arranging transfers, planning excursions, or adding thoughtful personal touches, his hospitality was outstanding. 🌿A Tranquil Garden Retreat🏡 True to its name, Bageechaa (meaning "Garden") is a beautiful oasis. The central garden creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for dining and unwinding. The modern, stylish design gives it an upmarket resort feel at an affordable price. 🚤 Easy Transfers & Convenient Location ✈️ Shihab arranged a speedboat transfer for us and personally picked us up from the harbour. Dharavandhoo also has its own airport, with 25-minute flights from Malé, making travel effortless. We took the speedboat in and flew back—both organised flawlessly by Shihab. 🌊A Paradise for Marine Lovers🐢🦈 The island is near Hanifaru Bay, where majestic manta rays gather seasonally, and close to a whale shark hotspot. Shihab organized amazing excursions—snorkelling, diving and sandbank trips—with trusted local providers. 🍽️Exceptional Dining👨‍🍳 Bageechaa’s in-house restaurant serves delicious, well-presented meals thanks to their talented chef Senaka. He skillfully prepares Maldivian and Western dishes, even adapting meals for our 8-year-old daughter—a rare personal touch! 🏡Outstanding Hospitality – A Home Away from Home❤️ The Bageechaa team, including the kind and attentive Suba, made us feel like family. Whether you're solo, a couple, or a family, they ensure a memorable, comfortable stay. 🌟The Best Choice on Dharavandhoo!🌟 With top-quality rooms, great service, and personal attention, Bageechaa Stay is the best accommodation on Dharavandhoo Island.

The Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu is truly a slice of paradise in the Maldives. From the moment you arrive, the excellence of service is undeniable. The staff is always attentive, welcoming, and highly professional, ensuring that all guest needs are met impeccably. Cleanliness is another standout, with every space maintained in pristine condition. In terms of space, the resort exudes a sense of expansiveness and serenity, perfectly integrated with the surrounding natural beauty. But what truly sets Coco Palm apart is the genuine care for details and for its guests, providing an unforgettable experience for all who have the privilege of visiting. It's undoubtedly a gem among luxury resorts! **A Special Acknowledgment to Three Stars of Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu: Jegan, with his impeccable welcoming and meticulous attention to every detail; Arif, who upkeeps the villa with an elegance and care rarely seen, always watchful of everything; and Sandhya, whose warm embrace upon our reunion reflects her unwavering tenderness, care, and dedication. They embody the soul and heart of this exceptional resort.

We stayed on one of the those water villas with a sunset view. The place was amazing, relaxing, and breath taking all at the same time. There were small sharks and sting rays right in front of our accommodation. We went there mid of April which was towards the end of summer and it rained 2/8 days that we stayed but it was still hot. They had one of these floating breakfast right in front of our room with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and it is where I did my marriage proposal. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful. Meals were buffet style, no pork or crustaceans as the Maldives is pre dominantly Muslim. At first we were just expecting to chill out and relax in this island but there were activities and excursions as well. Tip: If you are not really into alcohol, Half Board will do you fine. Tip: Make sure your flights in and out of the Maldives matches with your seaplane flight in and out of the smaller islands as seaplanes are not 24hrs. Tip: Bring your own snorkelling equipment, it will save you some money.

Breathtaking resort with well kept rooms and a natural atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The dining options are excellent, with delicious food and great service, and the resort offers plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the surroundings. A special mention goes to my butler, Nizam, who was exceptional in the short time I was there. He was always available to answer my questions, quick to respond to any requests, and personally helped arrange excursions that made my stay even more memorable. The entire team at Dusit Thani was warm, attentive, and professional, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. This level of service and hospitality truly made my visit unforgettable. And of course, let's not forget their beautiful house reef which is a huge plus point for an ocean lover such as myself.

Is there anything I can write in this review that other guests didn’t write already here on booking? From the very first moment they welcome you on the airport to the moment you leave this paradise on the earth, everything was just p-e-r-f-e-c-t! Top notch personnel where everyone is trying to pamper you and fulfill all the wishes. Buddy - you are the king! Great food for breakfast - even better for lunch and dinner (special recommendation for Japanese restaurant). Overwater villas are located directly over the reef with incredible marine life underneath (snorkeling felt like Windows screen saver :). On the scale from 1 to 10 I give them 11! Guys thanks for everything.

Absolutely stunning. Every villa is private and super comfy and on the beach. I preferred the ones without a pool in front because their snorkeling is better right in front of your villa. The whole island is yours with super friendly staff, beautiful pool area and lovely food and have I mentioned the awesome snorkeling https://youtu.be/71TQW8R67u0?si=aRJ-WyKaX3NsKT4L You would expect to pay double Just book it!

We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

The beach is so clean without any plastics wastes and trash. The sand bank is so beautiful and waters are coming with so amazing colors. I believe everyone traveled to Fulhadhoo was amazed by its beauty and tranquility. I do wish Fulhadhoo keeps its identity as exquisite, exclusive and pure inhabited islands open for travelers without increasing any unnecessary commercials. Just one thing for this island, the East sand band is soooo beautiful with its own serenity but I don’t understand why almost every day someone is burning rubber trash nearby which makes the sunrise time and mid-noon amazing waters time so unpleasant.

Maalhos is the ultimate getaway for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in the Maldives, it offers breathtaking views that will make you want to linger forever. The island is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking tranquility. Picture-perfect beaches stretch out before you, inviting you to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The wild forest adds a sense of adventure, giving you the chance to explore and connect with nature in its purest form. The vibrant reef is a must-see, and it’s easily accessible right from the shore—perfect for snorkelers or anyone keen on diving into the rich marine life. What truly stands out about Maalhos, though, is the local community. The people are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Their warmth and hospitality add a special touch that truly makes you feel at home. If you're after a peaceful escape, stunning scenery, and a welcoming community, Maalhos is the place to be. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking an idyllic, laid-back retreat!

Fehendoo is beautiful but it is very remote and not much to do on the island. It is great for relaxing and having downtime. Definitely do snorkeling and scuba if you can. The fishing wasn't what I expected. It was more like going out and watching a local fisherman fish. The island is very small. You can walk it but bikes were the best way to get around. I wouldn't take small children. It would be best for a secluded adult getaway.

A beautiful island, lovingly maintained. Despite its age, it is in very good condition, clean and comfortable. We lived in room 222 - cozy and cool. Professional and friendly staff. All issues are resolved promptly and kindly. The food is beyond praise, a real culinary show. The reefs are alive, with diverse wildlife: sharks, turtles and fish. Nice live music. Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.

This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple. The people are friendly. The beach and the sea is beautiful. There are a few restaurants on the island. We have limited choice on food. We recommend the restaurant called Moonshell as it provides more international food and the price is reasonable. There is another cafe near the pier where we can eat local Maldivian food. The cafe is popular among locals. The island is very close to the Manta point called Hanifaru Bay. We recommend this manta excursion as this is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. It is convenient to bring cash and exchange some Maldivian money to spend and pay for the meals.
