Such a helpful and warm welcome on arrival and also every time we passed the desk- better than other more expensive properties we stayed at. The room was perfect for what we needed and we were very comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen and being able to watch Netflix. The only thing I'd mention was that as two people With big bags- there wasn't a lot of space for bags! Can't fault anything else. Would absolutely recommend or visit again.

I would like to share my review of Hotel El Ganzo, as there aren't any reviews that accurately depict what you can expect when you visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and assisted by Rosendo, who kindly showed us around and helped us with our luggage. The front desk staff, Paola and Braulio, and their team were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It's difficult to find words that adequately describe this hotel—it truly is one of a kind. The music, art, staff, and food all contributed to making this place feel like a paradise. The dining experience was outstanding across all of the restaurants. The breakfast at El Restaurant was particularly memorable, with fresh and delicious food. The staff, especially Sarai, always made sure that our dining experience and overall stay were exceptional. One of the highlights of Hotel El Ganzo is its rooftop, which offers an incredible view of the ocean. The staff there, including Jose and another waitress whose name I can't recall, were fantastic. The food served on the rooftop was outstanding—truly deserving of a perfect score. Although my husband and I usually enjoy exploring outside the hotel when we are on vacation, this time, we spent our entire holiday at the hotel because it was so captivating. The private beach was a wonderful addition, with an amazing restaurant and attentive staff. Even the restroom facilities were exceptionally clean—a detail that is important to me. The housekeeping service was outstanding, ensuring that our room was always sparkling clean. I must mention the tacos food truck at the hotel, which served some of the best tacos I've ever had. Furthermore, the hotel offers various activities throughout the week, such as yoga classes, flamenco nights, and DJ performances. They have a spa and a music studio. There is always something happening at Hotel El Ganzo, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

    This place was exactly what we expected! If you want a large, fancy, 5 star resort then go someplace else. If you want a quaint, quiet, clean, smaller resort, then go here! That’s exactly what my husband and I wanted and that’s what we got. The grounds were kept up nice and all the staff were very friendly. I would recommend spending the extra money to upgrade to an ocean view room, totally worth it! Also, this place is within a 1-2 mile walking distance to the arts district and a grocery store.

You couldn’t get to the beach without going through a beach club and people were shouting in you into the restaurant, boat tour etc as you walked down the road. We only went to dive which took up the day. Not sure what we would have done otherwise. Not many veggie friendly place to eat unless you want to eat cheese and bread all week

    The town consists of about 150 residents who joined together...

    The town consists of about 150 residents who joined together to preserve the marine life and make wise environment choices. They don’t allow big hotels or businesses to take over and that makes this place an authentic gem. The town runs on solar energy and everyone is mindful of the resources. I fell in love with Cabo Pulmo, its people, and their philosophy.

    Great location and very nice pool. The trip was ruined because the owner did not pay the electricity bill. Our third night without electricity it was very miserable in our room trying to sleep without AC and with a heat index of over 100 degrees.

    We very much enjoyed Cabo.

    We very much enjoyed Cabo. The people are very friendly and they are confident in themselves in that this area is a long standing tourist destination. It’s different than the Gulf side. The waters are clear and cool. The breeze was constant even though it was hot the humidity was low. We also enjoyed the rocky landscape. Great place to spend a few days relaxing.

    I think that it is a great place for food and art and experiences close by, like beach and boating and farm visits. I would definitely go again but not in July. great food at El Oyster, Agave, Es Por Ti, and Ruba's. Didn't have time to go to more places to eat.

    La Ribera is mostly residential, so mostly a point where you can travel to other places like Cabo Pulmo and Santiago. Cabo Pulmo itself is really tiny & touristy, so we preferred La Ribera to have a few more food options. And as we only wanted one day in Cabo Pulmo anyway (it is only a 30 minute-ish drive on a dirt road). La Ribera is also not far from Santiago (also a tiny town), but has lovely activities like Canyon de la Zorro (waterfall hike) and Santa Rita hot springs (the latter we've heard great things about but we unfortunately planned it for a Wednesday & they are closed that day). I think two nights in La Ribera is plenty. There is not a lot going on in La Ribera itself except the local food is good--we recommend Tacos y Mariscos Vianey!

    It feels calm and peaceful, a delicate family place of “resting” I feel that if a member were bed written and healing from a injury, this would be the best place for that. For reason that family me,bets could enjoy the scenery while tending to the injured person. Best for “recovery”
