Beautiful country, the best restaurant in the bay for breakfast/lunch is LUNA LUNA. Lots of flowering plants and tropical trees still line the streets....MANY condo developments and lots of construction happening in the 'golden zone'. Rincon is not for everyone. It is not in the least upscale. Most North American tourist were more than 60 years old. You will not make 'young' friends here. Almost everyone, including me, have been coming to Rincon for many years. It is a truly Mexican, beach town with many very comfortable, long stay hotels, most with kitchen option. The people of Rincon are exceptionally friendly in a authentic way. There are many other small beach town North and Soth of Rincon. When driving you will experience a lot of down and out poverty. Loved the views and the amenities. The beach was beautiful and clean. Perfect for small children and all ages. The villa came with everything you could want. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The chef was exceptional. She even went grocery shopping for us. This made travelling in a group of 10 much easier. Getting around Crux de Huanacaxtle is not easy from Real del Mar.
