My main concern during my stay there was the hangout spots, especially at night. Since we all know Kuantan is Negeri Darul Event, I purposely came on weekdays. There are a lot of cafes, and if you stay nearby or in Kuantan city, some of them are within walking distance. During my stay there, i fully depending on the public transport and grab obv. I managed to try some of the famous things like Kula Cakes, celup tepung and the “tourist beach.” I haven’t tried their truly authentic local food yet or fully experienced the nature and culture due to my short stay but I definitely will someday. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it for solo travelers.Guest review byA'nas - 6.0

Cameron Highlands was really nice — the weather was perfect, and it felt peaceful being away from the city noise. But weekends can be a nightmare: the market areas were packed, parking was a struggle, and traffic heading towards Brinchang was just terrible. Definitely a great escape, but try to go on a weekday if you want some peace.Guest review byKogiMalaysia - 8.0

Basically the whole property area is conducive for vacationing. There’s room for improvements in the rooms.eg: the toiletries in insufficient, like the shampoos s as me bathing soap is a combination as one, and also allocate outside of the bathroom. It’s rather inconvenient.Guest review byOngSingapore - 8.0
Don't bother come during weekend/school holidays.
Don't bother come during weekend/school holidays. You will be the victim of standstill traffic. If weekend/school holidays is your only option, come way early in the morning, like, latest 7-7.30 am arrival at Cameron areas.Guest review bySufienaMalaysia - 2.0
Everything is over priced. Souveniers, food, water etc.
Everything is over priced. Souveniers, food, water etc. We are locals. The food in Cameron Highlands is more expensive than in the centre of KL. The entrance to the farms and some other venues are just too pricey. A family of 4 will end up paying RM100 to one spot. What about the other destinations? How can we promote local tourism when everything is priced for international tourists? The traffic jam to the farms up on the brinchang slope was the worst. Stuck for one hour and the cars on the other side even worse. Looked like 2 hours to me. No traffic control. I will not go to Cameron Highlands until that unnecessary traffic jam is not sorted.Guest review byG. RameshMalaysia - 10.0

The hot spring pool is good and well maintained.
The hot spring pool is good and well maintained. The rooms are neat and clean except not enough chairs and lack a small table. Have to drive 12 km away for lunch and diner on a narrow and winding road.Guest review byLarryMalaysia - 8.0

Cherating is a nice place to stay due to its beach, scenery, food and resorts, hotels nearby. But during peak season, u need to plan much earlier to avoid staying in discomfort resorts or old resorts or old hotel. You can find a good resort with nice environment and scenery if u have ample time to make a research or survey and surprisingly there are upcoming resorts which i am looking to stay but its fully occupied.Guest review byAbu Bakar - 10.0
