The island just screams calm and positive vibes. One of the best place, I’ve ever been. This was my first time visiting Pulau Perhentian however the resort staff contacted and guided me from the very beginning to have hassle free journey. Once we arrived to the resort, we were welcomed by the crew and Johan made sure our stay at the resort were comfortable and safe. One the best person, we’ve get to know. The staff at the resort are super friendly and very nice people. Ahmad who is pic to pool, accompanied me to the beach where it was surrounded by trees which made me feel a little bit anxious however he offered to come along to make sure I feel safe even though the walk was 5-10 minutes. We were treated like vvip and truly made us speechless to express our gratitude to them. Planning to go to the resort again next year during peak season to have more island views and activities.

The staff were so helpful and i feel so safe around the property. I was totally mind blown when i entered my room as it was even bigger and better than the picture taken. There so many food options and is also located near chinatown and walkable distance to ktcc mall and mayang mall. Will definitely come back when i travel to trangganu!

The room was great. Bed was extremely comfortable. Power points close by. Shower facilities were good and included shampoo and shower gel. The staff were great. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The great thing about this place, is that it is a short walk to the jetty to get to the Perhentian islands. Perfect stay if you are coming from KL.

Traveling to Perhentian islands so perfectly located. We arrived super late and had lunch included in our stay which we would miss as we had an early ferry. The staff so kindly offered us dinner instead which was so so lovely. The staff themselves excelled in their hospitality. Friendly, professional and memorable. My partner and I only stayed one night, but it felt like a refreshing escape. The standard room was spotless, with thoughtful amenities like bottled water, kettle, and toiletries.     I would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff who aid in the smooth running of this beautiful hotel. Liza and Yana who are the managers and the front desk staff Shazwan, Afig, Amira and Mika who welcomed us and took care of us from the time we entered hotel lobby. The food was amazing and the chefs who came to the table were so friendly and helpful at explaining all the dishes. Special thanks to restaurant staff, Maz, Ikhmal and chef Ann. The hotel has a unique old fashioned Malay style which adds to its charm. The room I stayed in was excellent with sea view and only 2-minute stroll to a beautiful, secluded clean beach. The staff really are attentive to your needs and ensure you have a Plesant stay. If you are looking for peace and quiet in tropical surroundings and want to totally relax this hotel has everything to offer you. I would book this hotel again when I am next visiting the East coast of Malaysia.

    The stay at the hotel has been magnificent. I believe it has been the best hotel on the entire island, and in my opinion, the best part was the service — the people. From the attention at the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was wonderful. The rooms were incredible, and the breakfast was unbeatable. I would totally recommend it and would definitely come back.

There is a lot of building and development going on, and clearly this place has ambitions. There are two massive shopping malls close to the drawbridgewith a great range of shops inside, and the whole city had a very pleasant vibe.

    i went as a solo female backpacker, i love a good party, i love the beach and i love good food! and i had all!! its actually just paradise on earth. theres only 2 bars so youll meet everyone, there is also a little walk you can do to get to the otherside to have dinner and watch the sunset which is really fun. the restraunts have really yummy and reasonably priced food. I reccomend getting cash out before you go and stocking up on sunscreen, cigarettes, aloe vera and water before you go because the little shops there are expensive due to the importation efforts. you absolutely MUST do day tours as well, the sights are unmatched and super cheap, there is tour vendors all over the beach you wont have a hard time organsiing anything. also youll most likely find the love of your life there but dont hold me to that. if you want to go diving or get your diving license this is also the place as packages are super cheap and often include accomodation and food.

    We liked the bed, it's firm and good for the back. Host (Nurul) was friendly and helpful. Her local food recommendations were spot-on for us. We had nasi dagang, ikan bakar and satay. The price of accommodation is most affordable. I will return when in town. Overall great stay

    I only passed by the town during my short trip to tanjong jara. But there’s everything u needed. Drugstore chains, clinics, banks and loads of restaurants with local delicacies. Oh and a visit to Rumah Kraf Batik at Jalan Nibong stesen is a must - a local artisan batik specialist. You can find high quality caftans from various materials; cotton / silk, shirts, baju kurung, parios and scarves.

    The hotel is spacious and provided with quite complete facilities e.g. big swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym. A good place for short vacation. It's located next to Kijal beach which is clean and my kids likes it alot. However, the hotel may need upgrading as it's amenities are quite aged.

    I cannot say much as my stay in Kuala Terengganu was short, only for three days, and the main purpose of my visit to KT was to visit my relatives. Didn’t do much sightseeing. However, it is a good thing that there is a large modern shopping mall within walking distance from the hotel that I was able to visit and spent time shopping and enjoying lunches and dinners in the restaurants. Also had a taste of durians in Kuala Terengganu which I didn’t have the opportunity to in Kuala Lumpur. Overall, it was a pleasant trip.

    Some great beaches with crystal clear waters. . i would recommend staying at long beach or coral beach on the smaller island. Rather than the fisherman's village. Boat trip to Redang - all day but worth the 150 MYR

    A lot of the mini marts and eateries there mainly cater for tourist so a lot of the prices are a bit on the high side. Even 7-11 is charging more for basic items like tooth paste, shower gels and all. Alcohol is not available widely, so it's wise to purchase at nearby towns before heading over.
