everything about the property, we were served by Liz Sam mostly during our stay and she was amazing. She would go the extra mile if we needed anything for our little one. Very attentive and friendly. She made us feel so welcome . Also had another gentleman who served us, unfortunately l didn't get this name 😞. He was exceptionally good as well. Also Dewin or Devin who took us on a drive, he was amazing, even the kids absolutely enjoyed it as he stopped and explained different animals etc. Very friendly and welcoming. He really made us feel so comfortable.

Extraordinary on all levels. Wonderful bungalow offering intimacy, fantastic views and close contact with nature. I loved to take a bath in the outside tub and shower outside the next morning. Quite a view and a very pleasant experience ! Great staff and meals. I enjoyed every moment and also loved the outside fireside.

The copper kissed rocks of the Waterberg mountains at sunset was spectacular!
The set dinner was lovely, even my vegetarian Guest was well taken care off.
I loved the message at the entrance to my room:
"Everything in Africa bites, but the safari bug is worst of all"
A peaceful second night of our trip

One of our favorite places in Namibia! If you want to see actual farm life with close family contact, but want to enjoy good food and comfortable accommodation at the same time, go there. Kathrin and Florian are marvellous hosts, told us a lot of the history of the farm and their families, how their farm is operated today including all the struggles and ways into the future. Highly interesting and personal. Tons of different animals (farm and wild life) We also enjoyed the farm and night drives.
Sorry not to be able to give more than 10 points.

We stayed one night at the Waterberg Wilderness ONE and a second night at the Waterberg NWR Restcamp. The views from the ONE were outstanding (we were upgraded to the Plateau Lodge), but the lodging costs were much higher. The NWR had surprisingly nice facilities, considering they are state-owned. Staying in either location requires guests to eat there or to self-cater. The ONE location lodging includes breakfast and dinner. The NWR location includes breakfast, with dinner served at the restaurant (ordering from a menu with decent choices).
We did a game drive through the NWR, which was much more affordable, but we did not get to see much (it was the wrong time of the year to see animals at watering holes). That drive is to the Waterberg Plateau, which is a wonderful trip in itself (even without seeing much wildlife). The ONE game drives are more expensive, but go to their own reserve to view rhinos (probably available year-round).
