- From US$249.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 823 reviewsThis was most amazing place where we could were in our trip around Namibia. Absolutly top accomodation with room (we had bigger lodge ). You must stay here minimally 2 night, because you can relax at the pool and nex to you walking rhinos, zebras etc. Dont forget get you of lodge and look up on the stars, it amazing experience in totally dark night (check my foto of Milky Way). Food was very tasty, staff top friendly and helpful, top beds and amazing room. I dont have anything to say what was wrong... More places like "We Kebi Safari"! I never forget this place and I trust in ours next visiting, I hope very soon.Guest review byMichalCzech Republic
- From US$515.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 150 reviewsWoow, à beautiful very modern Lodge in the desert. A perfect bungalow, very modern and luxurious. The breakfast and Dinner buffet was okay, but for a 5* Lodge somewhat disappointing. The staff was not really friendly like we experienced it at other Lodge. Maybe a touch too modern in the middle of the desert? However, the sundowner drive was very interesting and we had a very good guide who explained everything about the nature and the region.Guest review byJanineSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 828 reviewsReally beautiful place, I love Solitaire. The farm is near to the town with a feeling of being miles away from civilization. Tomas welcomes us with a big smile, refreshing cold towers and cold juices, he went beyond to make us feel like home! Breakfast was above expectations and a really good coffee. The bedroom is big and the shower is just what you need after 3 hours driving in the desert. .Guest review byAndreIraq

It's like being on a different planet. Even plenty of wildlife around including Cape fox, Oryx, Jackals, birdlife. Facilities are great, apart from the wifi in the rooms (though it's good in the main reception/dining/bar areas. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was very good, and excellent value.Guest review byDissenterIreland

It was busy but still private enough not to spoil the overnight stay. The staff were very helpful in the shop. It was useful to have the fuel station as well. The supplies in the shop were adequate for the overnight stay and the location was convenient for Sossusvlei. The drive into Sossusvlei was fine but very crowded when we got to Deadvlei. Well worth a visit though.Guest review byFionaZimbabwe - 8.0

We stayed in this location mainly to visit Sossusvlei which is further south. Solitaire itself is a charming but tiny settlement - only a few buildings and a petrol station, however it has an amazing cafe serving "the world's best apple pie" and it was! Solitaire is about a 20 minute drive from Soft Adventure Camp at the Namib Naukluft Lodge.Guest review byJulietAustralia - 10.0
We stayed at the Desert Camp, not far from the park entrance...
We stayed at the Desert Camp, not far from the park entrance gate. It was an easy drive to the park, and the 60km of wonderful tarred road to the 2 wheel drive car park. This gives access to Dig Daddy dune and Deadvlei. From here the park vehicle took us to Big Momma dune, and also goes to Hidden Vlei. All very easy. Dune 45 is 45 km along the road. The bus cost 180 Namibian dollars in October 2023. Wear runners to climb the dunes and walk to Deadvlei. Har, sunglasses and water are essential. We ate at the restaurant inside the park gate. Good and affordable. We bought our water at the shop there. Breakfast at the Sossusvlei Lodge was good too. I would recommend paying extra for tyre and glass insurance when picking up your rental car. Prior to coming to Sesriem, we had a flat tyre far from anywhere and Hertz directed us to a lodge with tyre repair services. We had to go on to Outjo to get the fixed tyre replaced, but the insurance made it less of a concern.Guest review byStevenIreland - 10.0

Best place to experience the oldest desert on earth.
Best place to experience the oldest desert on earth. Wonderful place to spend time with. At least you need to stay 1 night inside park to make sure that you can go to Deadvlei early in the moring. Take photos with shade of light. Hiking at Daddy dune in the morning and slide down to deadvlei.Guest review byOnnichaThailand - 10.0
