The location was blissfully quiet despite being in a little street. Parking was in a dedicated car park. Our welcome was warm and genuine. The food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely delicious as were the wines we sampled and enjoyed.

Spotlessly clean. Brilliant, polite courteous staff and that includes every single member of staff that we encountered Our room was upgraded and we were so grateful. Beautiful breakfast. Where shall I begin? Clean, cosy, feels like home, clean rooms, quiet but still in the center next to nice coffee bars, lovely breakfast in the morning and the most important: the staff are great! All very friendly, informative, flexible with the time of check in and out, considerate. I came with a friend and asked separate beds and very late check in (23:00) and it was possible. I am definitely coming back.

Our room was spacious with very comfy beds., Beautiful scenery from our balcony. Lovely hikes, friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast after an early morning hike. Enough to do in the towns surrounding the hotel.

    Our accommodation was very clean and spacious.

    Our accommodation was very clean and spacious. Bungalows were pretty new. Good location for cycling trips, walking. Small footbal/basketball pitch. Large swimming pool, unfortunately not heated. Water was clean and warm enough for swimming, but too cold for chilling out with the kids. I will come back there. Great discovery on my list of weekend stay places.

    One of the best places to take as your base for a hiking...

    One of the best places to take as your base for a hiking weekend in the "Dutch Mountains" of Limburg province. There are abundantly many signed walking and cycling routes in the forests, along the Geul river and through the little villages. We were here for an overnight stay, on our way back from an Expo in Germany. This was in the second week of October, and foliage just started. We consider going back for a weekend in a week or two.

    Eijsden was a beautiful wee place.

    Eijsden was a beautiful wee place. Lovely walk along the river. Fabulous restaurant at the river reasonable prices and food excellent. We used the bus service which was excellent was always on time and was approx 5 euros to Maastricht.

    Lovely space in the small village of Norbeek about 15...

    Lovely space in the small village of Norbeek about 15 minutes from Maastricht. We were this area for an event at Mheer Castle in the neighboring village of Mheer and this location was perfect. Very clean and spacious room. Location is convenient to many of the local historical sites. Highly recommend this place!

    Nice town center with all shops you might need and a few good restaurants. Also home of the "miljoenenlijn" steam train and restored old train station. Great base to visit the surrounding area and cities

    Great for walking (hiking) and biking in the area with a large variety of different routes. Gulpen has its own brewery that you can visit; be it on a tour (highly recommended, pre-bookable) or simply just visiting their brewcafe for lunch/dinner. Be aware though that the key "center" of Gulpen is alongside a fairly busy road.

    It is a very peaceful town, several villages in a row. I can see somewhat different life styles of Dutch people in terms of houses and surroundings, which is a good experience in traveling corners of Netherlands.

    We stayed here as Valkenburg was fully booked for the...

    We stayed here as Valkenburg was fully booked for the Christmas market except for expensive places. There was a frequent bus that ran until about 2300 hours, returning to Gulpen at 2220 from the market, we went to the local pub for a few drinks and it had an amazing atmosphere. Really enjoyed our weekend there.
