Breakfast was delicious and served in a stunning space. My meal at the Bistro was mouth-watering, and the service was excellent. The Bar & Lounge has a vast selection of drinks in a beautiful space, even for those who prefer a mocktail. The garden was beautiful, and I can only imagine how it looks in spring and summer. Overall, the stay was phenomenal. I came for a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed. It was the perfect momcation.

Staff who welcomed us , everything was ready , parked and our “ cabin” was large , extremely well laid out and SO clean ( congratulations to cleaners) bed very comfortable, great bathroom, sep toilet, beautiful views of horses and countryside, lovely large outside area and chairs and table , very quiet We were able to cook for ourselves which was appreciated after many days on the road We slept well and woke to a country counts Although this complex seems to be attached to a large camping ground it is a remarkable place, well thought out, very close to town and amenities great Can highly recommend

The room was so unique. The decor was beautiful and it was just a very comfortable and spacious room. I was on the top floor and there was a cute little balcony off the bathroom. It was right in the heart of the city and a good walking distance from the train station. The host, Helma, is fabulous. So helpful and made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was really worth having! Thank you very much for a wonderful three nights!

One of the highlights was the sleeping arrangement for the kids—not a sofa bed, but actual single beds, which made a huge difference in comfort and quality of rest for everyone. It’s a thoughtful detail that families truly appreciate. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious, fresh, and with a great variety to suit all tastes.     Amersfoort is a small but very charming city. If you are a fan of the painter Mondrian, it is a definite destination, as hi childhood home is now a very interesting museum dedicate to his life and work. That water-castle that always shows up on pictures of the town is somewhat misleading, on the pictures it looks like a castle but it's not very large. The canals are very charming ans you should definitely take one of the canal boat rides. The canal boat and the Mondrian house were the two high points of the visit.

    Zeist is a small town with a lot of shops and restaurants (also for take-away), a lot of options. You can walk in the forrest, shop, enjoy culture, go to Utrecht. You can go there by car, train of bus very easily

    Breukelen is a nice and quiet town.

    Breukelen is a nice and quiet town. The town is in walking distance from the Hotel and has train connections to Amsterdam and other cities. The town is good for walking tour and sitting down in the parks. We ate at one Vietnamese restaurant and the food is very good. There are other nice restaurants with different dishes. We like walking and this town is perfect for it.

    I needed to stay somewhere not far from where I needed to attend and had stayed in Utrecht before but so many shop must be card payments and of course my holiday wallet I must have dropped on the train and someone asked me if I lost my mobile and mine ewas in my bag, didn't realise I had dropped the wallet until I was about to leave the train so I guess because the wallet was the same size as an mobile he thought it was one no one handed it in at the station ticket office or the lost and found so he is now 160 euros richer. It has changed a lot since the last time I was there

    Amersfoort is a beautiful historic city. Shopping is great, lovely christmas decorations around town and a cute square with cafe's. We enjoyed a lunch at Broei - delicious vegan food. Also went to Petit Marie for dinner, French a la carte menu, absolutely fantastic service and here again delicious food. Getting around Amersfoort is easy, everything is pretty much walking distance.
