Fantastic location across from a park and next to a really nice restaurant. We also rented e-bikes from the front desk which made for a very entertaining day.

We were looking for small town, countryside,quiet experience. This place is amazing. We were greeted by the friendliest staff. They were ALL so helpful. Ghislaine, one of the property hosts welcomed us and showed us around and gave great suggestions. She made us feel like we knew her forever. We can’t wait to go back. The experience and ambience at Voltaire restaurant is unforgettable. It was amazing. Every bit worth it. We loved it.

We were nine cyclists staying for one night as part of a longer trip. It was raining very heavily when we reached the hotel and we arrived before our check in time. The hotel was hosting a large lunchtime party, but staff were very understanding and extremely helpful, and gave us immediate access to our rooms in order that we could change and explore the village to find some late lunch. There were also secure places to leave our bikes. The rooms were individually furnished, were immaculately clean and we all spent a very comfortable night. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The restaurant manager was extremely hospitable, friendly and great fun and the food and drinks were all delicious too. Breakfast in the morning was very good. It was well laid out in a large dining area. Looking back on our three week adventure, we all agreed that this was the best hotel we stayed in. Good value for money too.

Great location if you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The hotel is located in woodland which is a 20 min walk into the village. I was traveling by bicycle and the hotel provided great secure bike storage. The staff were very helpful and the room was excellent. My only niggle was no tea and coffee facilities in the room.

So comfortable! Bed was great, bathroom and amenities were great and well lit. The suite had everything we needed and then some; a refrigerator, kettle and coffee maker with coffees and teas provided. The best part, however, was the incredible and abundant breakfast that was delivered at our convenience the next morning. Well done! Checking in and out was easy, we were greeted by our host. Word of advice...not many Americans go off the beaten path, as we do, but if you are using a data only SIM for travel, please advise the hosts to use your email. We realized after our trip that we had received a text requesting our arrival time, and I felt bad that we had missed that. So sorry!
