- From US$344.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 205 reviewsWe visited in the winter when it was snow covered, magical and unique, quiet enough to spend a bit of time chatting with the wonderful Tommy and Marion. They really went above and beyond - Marion cooked up the best meal of our life using the Atlantic salmon we brought back from a fishing charter Tommy organised. You do not need to be a surfer to love this place, only our son is and he surfed all day every day he was so impressed - the variety of surf boards to rent was outstanding too. Everything was incredible, from the fabulous Beach Villa which was spacious with its own sauna, hot tub, and beautiful view over the beach, running/walking along the waters edge, and of course the northern lights. And definitely the worlds best cinnamon buns - we each had one every day we were there, and took a bag away with us, they are that good! We definitely plan to be backGuest review byEdwinAustralia
- From US$195.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,476 reviewsFirst, the extremely helpful young lady at the reception at 1730 August 6. In brief, we had a 'missing' baggage for 7 days, and I received conflicting messages from the airline (SAS). So I asked the young lady for help. In no time she called the airport to confirm its whereabouts (at Svolvaer airport). Then, she assisted us further by calling a local 🚕. All the time, she was courteous and soft spoken. Second, the hotel is in a wonderful setting and the most iconic part of this beautiful town. Third, a good and tasty breakfast is provided. Fourth, it's situated near the ferry ⛴️ pier (10 minutes' walk).Guest review byHon UHong Kong
- From US$166.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 314 reviewsWe spent a few days at this campsite, renting one of the cottages available. The location is perfect if you want to visit places in eastern Lofoten. The campsite is big enough so you can easily find a place for you. Our original cottage was on the side of the campsite and we had some problems accessing the Wi-Fi. The host of the campsite was amiable and communicative. Once we informed him about our issues with the Wi-Fi, he offered us a nicer, and better-equipped cottage where the Internet connection worked perfectly. Thank you once again!Guest review byJacekPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,274 reviewsIdyllic place, rich of history and good emotions. Our stay was perfect. Starting from the host , very polite and always answering to our requests, continuing with the rorbuer itself and the terrace outside , everything confirmed in a positive way our choice. The wood stove give that plus at the living room/kitchen. An authentic place where to spend our holidays. If one day we will be back in Lofoten, definetly we will stay here!Guest review byLeonKirLatvia

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.Guest review byDenizTurkey - 10.0

Lovely town in the Lofoten Islands with a beautiful beach nearby (Rorvika). Great cafes and restaurants especially Klatrekafeen. Would like to have done some hiking nearby but we ran out of time and it was actually too hot!Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Leknes is not the real tourist draw in the lofoten, but is central with a lot of busses going through if you don't bring a car. The bakery near the bus station and Sakura can be recommended. We didn't try other places.Guest review byFredericusUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Such an incredible place!
Such an incredible place! I visited in off season and two out of three days had good enough weather to explore. The third day had the most intense wind I have experienced, so it wasn’t safe to explore. I was happy with this experience but depending on what you want you may want to visit in summer, so that the trails aren’t so muddy. Even when they are, there is plenty of scenic routes to walk in between the towns!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Ballstad is a pituresque fishing village surronded by mountains. It's located right in the center of Lofoten which makes it a great base for those we want to explore the archipelago. Buksnes church is charming and a must see. Also it's near to Leknes where you can find a lot of stores and supermarkets. Ballstad will have a special place in our hearts as it was where we saw the most fantastic Aurora show which we were expecting for so long.Guest review byLeonardoPortugal - 6.0

Please do not go to Scandinavia Hotel, the manager of the place is simply not human, did not compromise on a small mistake we made in the booking, they do not answer the phones and there was not a single person at the reception, simply a terrible experience.Guest review by3amer ZubedatIsrael - 10.0

A very dreamy and picturesque town. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding. This is the place. There is a small pier to walk on. The cinnamon roll in the village bakery is delish! Having a car makes staying here convenient as we drove to different places for food and exploration.Guest review byIvyCW CCanada - 10.0

Best place to stay for 2-3 nights to explore the western part of Lofoten. Fully furnished cabin is best so you can easily cook or reheat food as your own convenient time. Most importantly to enjoy the surrounding. Immerse in the serenity atmosphere and just chill 😎Guest review byMahadi BeeSingapore - 6.0

Good facilities, the guy at the Tourist Info was very good, but it felt a little... functional? There's so many great places to stay that maybe look twice? Henningsvaer has a more attractive character, for example.Guest review byJeremyUnited Kingdom
