- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 1,572 reviewsI only stayed one night so I can’t say much but our room and the bathroom were very clean and spacious (and furnished nicely). Breakfast (included in my price) was also very nice with a big variety of foods to choose from. The location is also very good. There is also a storage room available to keep the luggage after check out without any extra fee. If I ever find myself in Trondheim again I will definitely consider staying here again.Guest review byGabrielaPoland

Everything is great — both the nature around the city and the city itself are beautiful. My main piece of advice would be to visit Egon Tårnet — a restaurant located in a tower with stunning views of the city and the fjord. The tower slowly rotates about 360° per hour, so you get to see the entire city while you dine. The food is excellent as well. People everywhere speak English, so getting help or service in English is no problem. The only downside is the prices — they can be quite high.Guest review byMykhailoUkraine - 10.0

Stayed here to work a flight and was delighted by the location, staff and bar options which are open until 1am, and a restaurant open until 9pm. Fab when options nearby are limited. A lovely garden around the pool area, peaceful and tranquil given its a 4 minute walk from the terminal. Bed were a little soft but once youre in you dont notice. No slamming doors which is a huge bonus in my book, and although no tea and coffee in the room, theres a station for you to make your own for 10sek. Breakfast is plentiful with a huge range of hot and cold options and also, an incredibly peaceful experience. A lovely little gem!Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The town definitely deserves the UNESCO status that it has the buildings date back from the 16th century and with the history of the copper mines makes it all more interesting. The wooden buildings are exceptional and the insight of how the miners used to live. It gives you food for thoughtGuest review byJeanFrance - 10.0
I stopped in Oppdal by train from Kongsvold.
I stopped in Oppdal by train from Kongsvold. I was on my way to Trondheim doing the pilgrimage of St. Olav's Way. Oppdal is this small town that has a lot of charm. I was able to walk around town for a little bit. There are sidewalks throughout town that allow you to get all over the place. Transportation - There is a train that can take you north to Trondheim. There's also a bus if you need to go to Berkåk. This makes it easy to get around. There's even a taxi service by the name of Trønder Taxi AS that you can use to get around. Warning - taxis are pretty pricey in Norway and I would recommend using public transportation if you can. Download Vy app to check times and buy any tickets you may need. I ended up eating at Burger King in Oppdal(I know, very American of me). I wanted to have something quick to eat. I will say this, fast food chains are more expensive than local restaurants.Guest review by#soarindisneyUnited States - 8.0

Malvik provided easy access to Trondheim and the many museums and historical sites to see in the area. The neighborhood had a fireworks show for New Year's Eve that was withing walking distance and fun for the whole family. The beaches looked very nice, too, but as we were there in winter, we didn't spend time on the beaches.Guest review bySandraUnited States - 6.0

The 'Bakeri' over the road from Tino's Hotell is well worth a visit. It's very expensive, but the cakes and food are delicious. For evening meals, we recommend Tino's - which was exceptional and fairly well priced. There are plenty of buses if you're on foot.Guest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This is a great city. One of Norway's largest in fact.
This is a great city. One of Norway's largest in fact. We took a bike tour and learned about it. The city houses the Norwegian Rock and Roll Hall of fame museum which was fun to check out. We had an AMAZING dinner at Kalas and Canasta. Couldn't recommend any higher. The staff and food was chef's kiss. There is live music around the city and super walkable. We got lucky with the weather. It was roughly 78 and sunny when we were there.Guest review byKathrynUnited States - 10.0

I was at Hell to see the Hell round for the world rallycross championship, I spent Friday exploring Trondheim as well, the town was great and very easy to get to, with the frequent running train service from the airport to there, in Hell. There’s a decent shopping centre and a few little fast food restaurants, an iconic place to stop and visit is definitely Hell, gods expedition, don’t forget to get your passport stamped at the hell post office too!Guest review byDarrylUnited Kingdom
