GreeceOur room was on a high floor with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In particular, Dimitri, our waiter at the Rooftop restaurant was super helpful and friendly. Not only he advised us on the menu and wine, he offered advice on the city's sightseeing and what to do. Also, as that day was my wife's birthday, he made it a memorable experience with a candle for her to blow on her dessert!

Several kinds of egg, all of excellent level, accompanied by the best bacon/sausage. Huge variety of meat/cheese/fish. Hot and cold vegetables. Glutenfree options. Fruit in many ways (sliced, smoothie, juice). There were even lemon and ginger shots. It's all a lot, but it was still sorted out very delicate. The room itself had a fantastic shower and a beautiful view towards the train station with the fjord behind it. The staff was very friendly.

Location is just best, it is right in the city center, yet so quiet and peaceful - that´s perfect for me. I loved my room. It felt like being home, not in a hotel. Very comfortable bed, where I had the best sleep in a long time. Breakfast was very very good - smørbrød was something I didn´t expect and enjoyed. Fresh and still warm bread gave the feeling of cosines. And the living room for breakfast is so cosy. It was a bit rainy that morning, but I still had a coffee also outside, on a cafe terrace of the hotel. It was also quite unusual to have breakfast with a view on old cemetery next to the Nidaros Cathedral. People working in the hotel are very kind and helpful. This is a great city. One of Norway's largest in fact. We took a bike tour and learned about it. The city houses the Norwegian Rock and Roll Hall of fame museum which was fun to check out. We had an AMAZING dinner at Kalas and Canasta. Couldn't recommend any higher. The staff and food was chef's kiss. There is live music around the city and super walkable. A bustling and vibrant city, where the friendliness and enthusiasm of the locals is contagious! We were travelling through to the Arctic Circle on motorbikes and this was a much needed hotel stop.
