Well, you have to know that it rains almost daily in Bergen.
Well, you have to know that it rains almost daily in Bergen. If you are up to that Bergen is an interesting city. 2 full days however is enough to see it; The main centre at the harbour is very touristic, unfortunately mainly due to many huge cruise-ships coming daily to the port and unleashing thousands of tourists. Around the harbour vicinity there are hardly any locals living. A bit off the centre there are many traditional houses.Guest review byDieter R. KollerSwitzerland - 10.0

Its a place which has lots of amazing things to do, every corner has a picture perfect view. In the beginning you might feel that 2-3 days are enough but I think you at least need 5 days. Good place to stay, we went to flam and Odda. Going and coming back from Odda was little bit hectic because it was raining heavily, the roads are very small, there are some places where there is only one lane, no two vehicles will fit. so be careful at such road. The nature is amazing, flam station has good food stall, I guess all major street foods.Guest review byPritamIndia - 8.0

Everyone will tell you it’s a tiny tourist trap with nothing to do etc and yes, it’s the tourists’ first stop in the fjords and everything is overpriced. However, if you explore, you can find things to see and do from there. It’s peaceful and quite beautiful, so definitely go when there isn’t a cruise ship in the tiny port.Guest review byLesleyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord...
Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord scenary. It has the other point of interest in that there is a, no longer functioning in its original capacity , factory in the middle of the Fjord. Because it poses no environmental problems any longer. This factory gives the Fjord an interesting historical relevance. The proprietors are obviously always improving the function of the accomodation to suit lots of different styles of travellers. We stayed in a three bedroom, self catering apartment with views on both sides. We had a drink in the evening looking over the lake and the waterfall and dinner at night looking over the Fjord. The walks in the area are popular because they are so full of natural beauty and thus attract many hikers and campers . The town felt slightly off piste from the over used tourist pathways which suited us perfectly.Guest review byRosemary SusanAustralia - 10.0

Olden is a beautiful little town next to Loen with drives and outdoor acitivities galore. We stayed 2 days and could have stayed at least 2 more. We did the Skylift, ate at Hoven, drove to the Briksdal glaciar and the Kjenndalsbreen Glacier. Loved it!Guest review byBrasel - 10.0

I visited Sogndal as a starting point to travel to Urnes Stave Church. The little town was a welcome change from the busy life of the big city such as Bergen. The weather was cloudy and rainy, but a walk on Fjordstien was a lovely pastime.Guest review byV.AtanasovaBulgaria - 10.0
