The main attraction in town is Sky Tower which was close to where I stayed. Many other attractions involved getting on the water and exploring close by islands but make sure you bring your money with you because the ferries don’t come cheap. Redwoods Forest is a fantastic mountain biking destination. Make sure you go and have a drink at the Secret Spot next door afterwards. A great place to soak your feet or indulge in a spa. Went to Caravan and Camper Show at Mystery Creek which was excellent. Also went to Raglan and visited a business in Auckland. Hamilton Gardens enclosed gardens were fun with good cafe.
