From the moment I entered my room, I was captivated by the breathtaking view it offered. The panorama of The Remarkables mountain range and the tranquil lake was simply mesmerizing, creating a serene backdrop that set the tone for a perfect getaway. The room itself was a haven of comfort, with thoughtful amenities and a cozy ambiance. Clean, well-appointed, and strategically located, it made for a delightful retreat after a day of exploration. What stood out to me was the proximity of the pool – just a stone's throw away. This convenient placement added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay, providing a refreshing escape and a perfect spot to unwind. The attentive staff members contributed significantly to the overall positive experience. Their warmth and willingness to assist made me feel truly welcomed, enhancing the sense of hospitality that permeates this establishment. Whether you're a nature enthusiast drawn to the allure of The Remarkables, a fan of peaceful lakeside vistas, or someone who appreciates a well-designed room with easy access to recreational facilities, this place ticks all the boxes. Lots to see and do in Christchurch.
Lots to see and do in Christchurch. We had 2 full days to explore and managed to see/do the hop-on/hop-off tram, punting on the Avon, the gondola (plus walk from the top down to Lyttleton), the earthquake museum, the cardboard cathedral, New Regent St, Riverside Market and a stroll around the beautiful botanic gardens. Ran out of time to visit the Art Gallery and Willowbank Wildlife Park which were on our list.Guest review byCarolynAustralia - 10.0

We loved Queestown, we were very lucky to see snow fall early hours of the morning from the comfort of our bed. We went in the gondola and when we got to the top we were lucky again to have the snow fall on us. One word for Queenstown... breath taking!Guest review byJillAustralia - 10.0

Lake Tekapo is a beautiful place to visit.
Lake Tekapo is a beautiful place to visit. The water is bright blue, and you can still see snowy mountains all around in October. The Church of the Good Shepherd is small but very famous and great for photos. At night, the stars are amazing because the sky is so clear. You can also enjoy walking around the small town and take in the breathtaking views from the top of Mt John. It’s a quiet and relaxing place — perfect for a short trip.Guest review bySamAustralia - 10.0

Very Pretty, lots of places to have a coffee or drinks, enjoyed a drink on the waterfront looking at a amazing view, also scenic drive to Lake Hawea and went as far as the lookout when the road takes you to top of Lake Wanaka.Would of loved to had more time to do some short walks.Guest review byLynleyAustralia - 10.0

A very pretty little town on Lake Te Anau, with the snow covered mountains of Fiorland National Park as the back drop. Plenty of eateries many right on the lake. Supermarkets and specialty shops. Beautiful walks. Hiking trails if you're looking for that. Jaw droppingly beautiful scenery everywhere. A 2 hour drive to Milford Sound or take a bus tour. Tours from Queenstown stop off in Te Anau to collect passengers & drop back on return trip. This was what we did and it was so much easier than travelling all the way from Queenstown. Te Anau is a nice and worthwhile drive from Invercargill. We just loved Te Anau. It was all and more that I'd hoped for!Guest review byLee-AnneAustralia - 10.0

We went on the whale watch and the tour was very informative and saw lots of wild life, whales, seals, birds including an albatross and 2 different species of dolphins. I will always have this as a beautiful memory on our trip to New Zealand ❤️Guest review bymartineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The welcome from Victoria was excellent and the information she supplied was very helpful, we stayed in the different pools a total of six hours until they closed at 7pm, The day was overcast with intervals of sunshine, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and some thing to wrap around you if wind is blowing, excellent place to visit for us oldies or if you have kids of all ages,Guest review byDavidson - 8.0
Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food...
Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 10.0
I found Invercargill an interesting place.
I found Invercargill an interesting place. You wouldn't call it a pulsing metropolis but it is very pleasant. I particularly enjoyed the city's older architecture and it is a good base for exploring further out. The people were very friendly also.Guest review byBevanNew Zealand
