- From $348.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 557 reviewsI was delighted with the hotel's location. It was remarkably quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere that made my stay even more enjoyable. The restaurants was a culinary delight. The food was not only delicious but also well-presented, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. I must commend your staff for their exceptional hospitality. Every member of your team was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist, which truly enhanced my overall experience. The entire property is a true gem. Its beauty and comfort made me feel right at home throughout my stay, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and amenities. The only suggestion I would like to offer is the addition of an elevator, as it would further enhance the accessibility and convenience of your establishment. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at your hotel. I look forward to returning in the futureGuest review byYingJieChina
- From $222.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,060 reviewsWe truly enjoyed our stay here. Of four nights, only one night the car parking inside our lot wasn’t available (we came back after 10pm), so we had to park in the other car parking of the hotel, but there was always parking g while we were there in May. It was a very spacious apartment for the two of us, super comfortable, everything was very clean, the kitchen super well equipped (we cooked out breakfasts there), it has a small laundry… and the design and layout of the room were perfect: the beautiful views of the lake could be seen from every area. Having breakfast looking at the lake was a great experience. Great location super close to everything. Just loved itGuest review byYaraPanama
- From $1,871.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 52 reviewswe had been traveling for some weeks when we reached eichardts, so having laundry facilities in our apartment suite were an unexpected bonus. The nice kitchen also gave us the ability to cook some food items which we like without going out to a restaurant. The locaction of eichardts at the waterfront promenade was beautiful and got us close to all the local bars and tours. We were served a liesurly but excellent free breakfast in the eichardts bar. Great and helpful hotel staff. Queenstown on the wharf is so beautiful, dont go to the uphill accomodationsGuest review byJohnUnited States
- From $257.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,205 reviewsThe hotel views were exceptional. The reservation included breakfast each morning in their dining room which was super convenient and very tasty. The soak experience was great with gorgeous views overlooking Queenstown. Staff is super friendly and helpful. When I tried to book a dinner reservation on site myself, I wasn't able to find any available openings. But the hotel staff reached out and helped me make one because they prioritize guests who stay there. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely stay there again.Guest review byCindyCanada
- From $56.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 487 reviewsWe booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.Guest review byImogeneNew Zealand

Central Christchurch (NZ's second largest city) is ideal for strolling around on a sunny day. It's situated on a picturesque river with beautiful Botanic Gardens and Hagley Park within easy reach. (Stunning blooming flowers Sept-Oct.) There are plenty of good eateries and it's awesome to see the modern shopping areas and facilities that have resurfaced over the last few years.Guest review byBruce - 6.0
Definitely not a place to go to during holiday season.
Definitely not a place to go to during holiday season. Thousands of visitors all vying for the tourist attractions, insufficient parking provided if one is lucky to find a space and then time is limited to 30 minutes to one hour, insufficient to do most things. The gondola had a precarious crossover considered unsafe for the massive numbers crossing it at one time. Best just to cruise by car along the seashore very pretty. If wanting to go on the river cruises, etc., which will be massively full of people it would be best to take a taxi from hotel or where one is staying.Guest review byDavidOman - 8.0
Historical city, beautiful old buildings, Railway Station...
Historical city, beautiful old buildings, Railway Station and trains awesome. Museum’s great. Easy to get around. Otago Peninsula is beautiful and the wildlife is amazing. Easy drive down the scenic route along the coast to the Catlins. Nugget point lighthouse is worth visiting. Just have to allow time to travel from the airport into and out of the city if flying in. It’s about a 20 minute drive.Guest review byChrisNew Zealand - 10.0
I adore Lake Tekapo. Views for days. Good hot pools.
I adore Lake Tekapo. Views for days. Good hot pools. Peaceful. A decent serious hike up Mt John to the Observatory Cafe or an easier one up to Cowes Lookout, both with amazing views. I've been going for years - still small but a good supermarket now and more eateries. It is getting busier and pricey, both accommodation and eateries. On the road to Queenstown so an easy stopover. Go with a car if you can - a side trip into Aoraki Mt Cook and walks up the Hooker Valley are worth it.Guest review byHeatherAustralia - 10.0

Very Pretty, lots of places to have a coffee or drinks, enjoyed a drink on the waterfront looking at a amazing view, also scenic drive to Lake Hawea and went as far as the lookout when the road takes you to top of Lake Wanaka.Would of loved to had more time to do some short walks.Guest review byLynleyAustralia - 10.0
A very pretty little town on Lake Te Anau, with the snow...
A very pretty little town on Lake Te Anau, with the snow covered mountains of Fiorland National Park as the back drop. Plenty of eateries many right on the lake. Supermarkets and specialty shops. Beautiful walks. Hiking trails if you're looking for that. Jaw droppingly beautiful scenery everywhere. A 2 hour drive to Milford Sound or take a bus tour. Tours from Queenstown stop off in Te Anau to collect passengers & drop back on return trip. This was what we did and it was so much easier than travelling all the way from Queenstown. Te Anau is a nice and worthwhile drive from Invercargill. We just loved Te Anau. It was all and more that I'd hoped for!Guest review byLee-AnneAustralia - 10.0

We went on the whale watch and the tour was very informative and saw lots of wild life, whales, seals, birds including an albatross and 2 different species of dolphins. I will always have this as a beautiful memory on our trip to New Zealand ❤️Guest review bymartineUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 8.0

The welcome from Victoria was excellent and the information she supplied was very helpful, we stayed in the different pools a total of six hours until they closed at 7pm, The day was overcast with intervals of sunshine, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and some thing to wrap around you if wind is blowing, excellent place to visit for us oldies or if you have kids of all ages,Guest review byDavidson - 10.0
Mount Cook Village is a great location if you are planning...
Mount Cook Village is a great location if you are planning to do some walks in the area. We did the Hooker Valley Track, Sealy Tarn Track, and the Tasman Glacier View after which we were exhausted and travelling to another location would have been a bit much. Staying at the village was the best decision. At night you can travel slightly out to get the most exceptional views of stars and in the morning you wake up to unbelievably beautiful views of mountains. If you are lucky you might just get some snow.Guest review byWaldoNew Zealand
