United KingdomIt was immaculate. Everything is brand new, the carpets and towels are plush, the room is soundproof and the bed very comfy. I had the best nights sleep in a long time .
The bathroom is beautiful with good shower and quality fittings
Lots of extras- nice biscuits, great selection of teas. Big bottles of good brand shampoo and body wash . Well worth the money

PortugalBeautiful room, comfortable beds and amazing shower. It was quiet and we had a really good sleep. The carpark was right in front of our hotel room.
We tried both dinner and breakfast there and the food was good and restaurant staff very friendly. Great breakfast options also. Would stay again when in Invercargill.

Te Anau is a beautiful town, set on the shores of a lake, with close access to Milford and Doubtful Sounds. The main shopping centre offers lots of different restaurants and take away options. We drove our hire car from Queenstown and stayed just the one night as we had a Tour booked the next day on the boat. We enjoyed the drive and the stunning scenery on our trip to Milford Sound; however, if you are short on time, you can FLY straight out and do the Boat cruise in half a day. If you drive down- it's an ALL-DAY event and that is why we opted to stay overnight and travel back to Queenstown the next day. There is only a CAFE in the town for quick food and coffee etc... There were limited places to pull up on the trip to have a meal. Lots of scenery and a long drive but enjoyable if you like car trips?Guest review byKARENAustralia - 8.0

Tranquil town away from the touristy hubbub of Te Anau but within range to catch the tour to Milford Sound. The Church restaurant served excellent meals at a reasonable price. The township of Oban is the place to find out most info, access e-bikes and get details of walks, kiwis, trips to places such as Ulva Island. It’s the central township for the island. Am SO glad we decided to stay in Bluff! We met the most wonderful, kind, generous authentic people ever!! We had the most fantastic two days here - was well worth coming and staying in the Foveaux Hotel with owners Mike and Pam was just fabulous - so authentic and gorgeous. A 9min drive from Invercargill it was the right choice for us. We found the cabin & facilities excellent. Invercargill was extremely underwhelming for us so we're so glad we chose to stay close to the beach which was very cool! Travellers just need to be aware that Niagara Falls is a joke, but it is a lovely place to stay. Possibly, Curio Bay around the corner would be a more spectacular place to stay, but Niagara is only a short driving distance away.
