The camp is located inside the desert and requires a 4x4 to access. The site is magical and the tents are luxurious and well appointed. The experiences are also very apt and engaging - dune bashing, camel rides and gazing at starry skies while listening to the owner tell you stories of life in Oman. The staff was also extremely helpful. Overall a night that will be etched in our memories for ever.

Top location, we were isolated, totally sorrounded by dunes and stars. Our tents were comfortable and clean; having a shower under a Sky full of stars was an amazing experience. The staff was very kind especially Emaad. We were also very lucky to have Masud as a driver for the most exciting dune bashing.

Very beautiful spot. Well-designed and well-decorated bubble. Issa is an extremely kind and accommodating owner. PERFECT stay! Definitely the best camp in the desert. Simple good meal and very large quantity !

The camp is very nice. The location in the middle of desert. Bader was an excellent host. He took us in a nice experience crossing the sand and rode camels. The breakfast was delicious and we ordered dinner and his mother cooked it and it was very delicious. The atmosphere in the camp is family and comfortable. The room is clean and comfy.

Property was looking like as if u r on mars. Beautiful dome shaped white tents surrounded by glistening sand on which sunset rays r falling on it.feeling was as if u r in different world.inside very specious room n king sized bed .truly sunset dome. Staff was excellent.food was delicious. Having breakfast n dinner in d dining hall was in itself was different experience.

The location is great - far from other camps and village. During the stay you can feel like you are the only people on the desert. The tents are well equipped, spacious with the balcony. The host is helpful and do everything you feel well. And the breakfast is amazing - better then we had in hotel. This camp is deffinitely worth 10!

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

Stars Gate Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Al Wāşil, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities.

Top situated on top of a dune. The services are extremely friendly and competent. Rooms are in top condition and stylish, food is excellent. And the Pool with it"s view over the surrounding dunes ist worth to jump into. No noice creating activities in the camp but available in 500 m distance for those who like dune bashing. Camel rides and ballooning are further options amongst others. All in all- you will like it!

This accommodation in the middle of the desert exceeded our expectations. The tents were very comfortable, tea, coffee and dates were available all the time, the breakfast was delicious. We also received precise instructions on how to find our way by car through the desert, which was very helpful. Payment is also possible here by card.
