I arrived well before the check-in time, but was allowed to rest and read on comfortable couches at the back of the lobby, with a coffee carafe available nearby. The pool is cleaned every morning and the area has plenty of tables, chairs and umbrellas. The buffet breakfast is absolutely fantastic and my favourite feature of the hotel, with a great selection of food that kept me filled up for hours. Plus, the bartenders refilled my water bottle with ice cold water. The staff are very friendly and helpful and ready to assist with anything you need. The hotel is well-located, only a few blocks from the main square, cathedral and river.

The hotel is perfect! Best in Pucallpa. Spotlesly clean, large rooms, king bed.Beautiful bathroom. Seems very new. Large and very beautiful swimming pool. Very nice breakfast.     Friendly/ helpful locals. Well organised excursions. Delicious regional dishes. Well signalled roads, plenty moto service for local transfers. Roads out of town in need of maintenance. Various near by rivers and forrest to explore. Highly recommended “Aerija Travel” by Laura +51 959 375 935 Fluent English speaker native guide tour. aerijatravel@gmail.com Laura has shared her knowledge and organised tailored excursions. She managed to swap transport to accomodate our needs. Thanks full for her professionalism and positive attitude.

    Pucallpa is more relaxed than Iquitos but The jungle in Peru...

    Pucallpa is more relaxed than Iquitos but The jungle in Peru is difficult in general for white foreigners. There is a lot of racism. It’s difficult to feel like a human being because everyone just treats you like an ATM and like you have an obligation to support them and their five kids.

    It is not my favorite city in the jungle.

    It is not my favorite city in the jungle. Not a lot to wander around. People are very kind. I recommend visiting the boiling river but the bride's veil waterfall was a rip-off: too much travel time for something not amazing at all. Food was great everywhere, specially in: Tuyuyo, el Toro Pez and Ukaw. We had breakfast at Manish hotel and it was the worst decision because everything was flavourless and not many options.
