- From US$147.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 554 reviewsBasically everything. Please do note though that this Booking site both contains the Moana and the Sunset Hill premises as well. The Moana is near the ocean, in Sunset Hill (which we had rented) lies 100 m farther - no big deal. Do note also that the downstairs rooms can get quite humid easily, so the air conditioner is a welcome thing. But besides that, this is THE bang for buck thing if you do not want to spend all your money on overwater bungalows. The most important thing, and I think, an advantage, is that since you are at the heart of Vaitape, you REALLY experience Bora Bora - not what a big hotel chain presents you as Bora Bora. AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE. Shops, foodtrucks, pharmacy is easily reachable. But the best thing is that your hosts take you THERE AND BACK to Matira beach - which, put it simply, is the greates beach on Planet Earth :) If you plan to save money by making your meals for yourself, and get in touch with real Bora Bora, think no more about your accomodation - you've just found it. You can use the private dock at Moana - it is deep, deep blue, but we saw our first wishes - wonderful ones! - here. So basically you get a private lagoone connection, too.Guest review bySzabinaHungary
- From US$295.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 415 reviewsThe place is amazing, I booked the beachfront bungalow, the hotel's private beach. A wonderful view. We were very well received by the hotel host, who picked us up at the airport. The hotel has bikes for rent and lots of information about sightseeing. The beachfront bungalow has a well-equipped mini kitchen. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel, the beach is 2 minutes away, it has been considered one of the most beautiful in the world. I liked everything and I definitely recommend it and will be back.Guest review byAdrianaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsThe place is simply gorgeous! We stayed there for part of our honey moon and we were so happy to be there. The room was fantastic, very spacious and decorated with so much taste and antique pieces. The garden is amazing, it is like a jungle and the bathroom is actually outside in the nature. The owner Nir was very welcoming and helpful with all the sorts of information, and he told us so much about Bora Bora and other interesting stories. We cannot recommend more this place!Guest review byPavlinaBulgaria
- From US$287.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 821 reviewsHosts allowed us to check-in 2 hours earlier, the reception was wonderful. The room's overwater balcony was fantastic with a fantastic view, the infinity pool was perfect, and The Gecko restaurant associated had great food with great value for money. Great location - north part of Vaitape, walking distance from the supermarket Chin Li and the shopping centers.Guest review byTalia LevronIsrael

The view of Bora Bora, the solitude and the natural life. To sum it up: It was a dream and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tea, Tatiana and Joël 😃Guest review byDennisGermany

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.Guest review byDorisNew Zealand - 10.0
Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.Guest review byTracyAustralia - 10.0
Going to Matira Beach is a must.
Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).Guest review bychristianUnited States
