11 out 10. Unbelievable good hote. Perfectly clean, amazing food and well maintained scooters available. Located within a cute local village. Very few options of restaurant and pubs but super authentic local environment. Perfect base Camp to discover the Northern part of the Island. We did a day trip to Coron town, but were happy to be back at this nice little and quiet hotel since Coron itself is just too busy and dirty. Would definetly stay there again.

This place is a hidden gem. Such clean and cheap place. Pool was soo great. Breakfast is insane! We were not expecting this much. Staff is soo great. They provide everything. Taxi at the door. *The location of this Hotel was peaceful and it's in between Coron Proper and Busuanga. *The room that we have was Mountain View, if you are a morning person you'll be able to see the sunrise from your balcony. Take note: all of the rooms have balcony ☺️ *This hotel offers, ♥️Tours (Calamian Island Travel and Tours) and you'll just need to tell the front desk which tour you want to have and they're going to book it for you. ♥️ Massage - for only 750 (15 USD) you can have they're 1 hour massage. Our masseuse was Ms. Joy. ♥️ Food - we availed a room with breakfast (breakfast time 6:00 am to 10 am) they offer American breakfast and Filipino breakfast (silog meals) we have tried everything in the menu so YES every food that they're going to serve was perfect ☺️ ♥️ Motorcycle Rentals - YES they also offer this rentals. 4 hours to 24 hours it's your choice, ranging 400 (8 USD) upto 650 (13 USD) if you need to add fuel I suggest you need to fill up to the nearest gasoline station from the hotel and not to the coron proper. ♥️ Pool - if you just want to relax for a day they have pool upto 5 feet deep. You'll feel that you rented the whole pool because most of the guests are having their tour so you can enjoy it alone 😉 best time to go 4pm. ♥️ STAFFS - THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE!     Beautiful, tranquil resort in an idyllic setting. All the resort staff were lovely and super friendly and helpful. On arrival we were met by name on the pier by Jennifer and Meryl who set the tone for the visit! Rooms: We were in a Beachside Chalet, which was right on the beach as the name suggest with a lovely view. The chalets are rustic but comfortable. No AC but we had a ceiling fan and two additional movable fans in the room (which we used ) and we slept well. No hot water, but we didn't miss it - its hot anyway so its nice to a have a shower to cool down. Water is cool, but not freezing. Food: was pleased by the food because I know some Philippine dishes can be heavy and fried, but there weren't many of these( a few, which were good !) Healthy home style cooking with lots of variety each day and fresh fruits at each meal. The Rock Bar which serves happy hour from 5 - 7 pm is a little gem. Diving: We chose Sangat as a dive resort. There was a mix of divers of varying abilities while we were there and the dive centre was on top of grouping people according to abilities for safe an enjoyable diving for all. Great dive staff who follow safe ( but not overbearing) dive practices. Ed was our guide for the week and took us through all the wrecks. He was excellent! The wrecks are the main attraction - there about 7 of them and they are all interesting and good to penetrate if you have the skill level to do so. Less experienced divers can also dive the wrecks without going inside. Lots to see on top of them also. Reefs: Much healthier and less bleached corals than I recently saw in the Maldives but fish life is pretty usual. Not really any big stuff. For non divers you would want to be happy with just chilling, reading, snorkelling - I think there's a few excursions you can do, but its very low key.

    10++ Excellent Resort on its own private island. Transfer including boat is included to the island. Nice beach with sunbeds and kubo. Snorkeling diving equipment and kayaks are available to borrow. Nice pool and children's pool with snack bar. Two restaurants with excellent buffer dishes with elements of international dishes. A la carte is also available. Pleasant and helpful staff. Quiet and nice place without wandering vendors. There was a bit of construction going on, but it wasn't noticeable. Excellent place to take it easy and relax and just enjoy.

    The room is very clean, the facilities are new, and I'm most satisfied with the front desk service. They handle scooter rentals, airport transfers, and have information on diving shops and travel agencies in Two seasons bayside hotel. Since we switched rooms on the last day, the staff considerately moved our luggage to the new room. Also, just inform the front desk for scooter rental and return; the service is attentive and thoughtful.

    honestly, this was the best experience we have ever had with a hotel. we are full time travellers and seen and spoken to many hotels - but the staff at Corto del Mar went above and beyond our expectations. not only were they helpful, kind and friendly - but they also packed us breakfast, made sure we woke up for our ferry and gave professional and honest reviews of the possible tours. really the best customer service we have had.

They offer different services, such as kayak rentals, which we tried and really enjoyed. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with beautiful views, we highly recommend staying here.     The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is...

    The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.

    If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...

    If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

    Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.

    I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while huge wild beautiful Busuanga is near. Its very big island, better to rent a motorbike to discover it. A lot of things to do, islands, giraffes, diving, beaches.

    Day trips to beautiful beaches and islands is what Coron is about. The town is dirty and chaotic. And hotels are overpriced for what you get. 3 or 4 days is enough to enjoy the diving and snorkelling options which are wonderful. Lots of rubbish floating around in the ocean and on the beaches which seems to be a south east Asia problem. Over all some stunning scenery well worth visiting and exploring

    We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.
