The accomodation is a series of cabin-like rooms a short walk into the main lobby/restaurant area. There is a desk & bar area & plenty of cupboard space. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, and the deck & the views to the gardens outside very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, including a fully labelled herb and vegetable garden. There are 2 pool areas, one for kids which is also a great idea. Transport can be arranged by golf cart to and from the restaurant but we enjoyed the walk. The breakfast was excellent, huge range of choices, and the dinners too, although it was pretty pricey. This charming seaside village offers an ideal spot to relax and recharge. Although it can get quite crowded in July and August, its peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for a getaway. A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.
A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.Guest review byTiagoPortugal - 10.0

Lovely hostess, fabulous location high up so we enjoyed the sunset. Apartment was very clean & well equipped, large, comfortable bed. Wifi very strong. Nice luxury whilst walking 12 days of the Fisherman's trail. Almograve is a beautiful town close to an amazing beach. The town itself was smaller than the surrounding towns with less amenities , like restaurants to choose from, but we were only there for one night so it was fine. Sines is a great starting spot to explore both the super-long pretty much unbroken beach to the north that goes all the way to Troia, and the small pictoresque "cove" beaches to the south of Sines. The town is a bit rugged, and definitely not a fancy place, but so much more authentic for it. A nice and quiet place, with small nice restaurants. Some bridges with different coloured light cross the Sado river, joining the two halves of the town, and give a touch of magic to the town during the night.
