Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable, modern room. I had a small terrace which was also nice. They provided a fruit basket as a welcome gift which was most appreciated. Great breakfast and the hotel's restaurant is also nice, glad I had dinner there one night. Been so close to some major tourist attractions was also awesome.

Amazing hotel. Such a great staff. Very good breakfast and restaurant. Comfortable and clean rooms. Lots of parking space (paid). Amazing pool, next to the gym, great for a quick dive after working out. The location is also great, in a quiet street, not in the bustling center, but right next to a metro station and a short walk to all the cool stuff in Porto. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone, especially those traveling with kids.

I recently stayed at this newly built hotel located in the very center of Porto, and it was an excellent experience overall. The hotel boasts a great designer interior, where it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into every detail of the decor. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their attentiveness truly made a difference. The location is perfect for exploring Porto’s main attractions on foot. The hotel also features a nice restaurant with a delightful menu, as well as a large indoor pool—ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The Essence of Portugal

With fabulous beaches stretching from Caminha by the Spanish border to just south of Espinho, Portugal’s Norte region is known for beautiful scenery and historic cities.

Most Norte hotels on Booking.com are in its UNESCO World Heritage-listed capital Porto (or Oporto). Attractively spread over hills, it has wine cellars storing port from the Douro River Valley vineyards upstream.

Voted one of Portugal’s most liveable cities, Vila Real has the Mateus house overlooking a peaceful pond. Guimarães boasts a UNESCO World Heritage-listed historical centre and is known as the ‘birthplace of the Portugal’. Its stately castle and the Palace of the Dukes of Bragança are well worth a visit.

Bragança itself is by Montesinho Natural Park in north-east Norte, and a keep remains from its former castle. Chaves also has a castle keep and a Roman stone bridge, but unlike Braga, it no longer has remains of its Roman baths, erected over hot springs. Braga’s crowning glory is the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary, set high in hills, with a wonderful staircase and garden overlooking the city.

South of Galicia is the beautiful Peneda-Gerês area, Portugal’s only national park, and to its west is Viana do Castelo with its Norte beach hotels set on Blue Flag beaches. Also noteworthy is impressive Basilica de Santa Luzia, surveying the riverfront town below.

    One of the most special places we have ever stayed - the location is just stunning, the rooms are immaculately clean and beautifully designed, and Cedelia and Deri and their team are the most generous hosts. They were particularly kind in helping my husband who injured himself before we arrived. We also enjoyed the wine made in house (we particularly liked the rosé) and delicious meals from Deri (we tried most of the tapas menu including cod fritters, cheese board, salad, burger, fries and pizza and all were very tasty).     A true paradise in the nature, in a super stylish cabins, and most amazing hosts. Every detail warmed the heart, you enter the bungalow and bottle of whine with a cake is waiting for you, 10minutes after it stars raining, hosts nocks at your doors with sturdy umbrellas. We were extremely unlucky with a weather, but cabin was so beautiful, surrounded by the wonderful nature, local cat visited us and stayed with us for the whole night and we used inside pool with an amazing view to the hills, so we were not even sorry that we couldn’t get outside for 3days:)

    The location is perfect, surrounded by hills and with a view to the river. It offers the perfect nature getaway with comfort. The spa has two swimming pools, one adults only. The room was spotless and the cleaning team, restaurant staff and receptionists were exceptional. The breakfast was also very good from fresh fruits and bread, to good Portuguese cheese, and some homemade cakes and cookies. Also English breakfast available. The exterior playground was maintained and had a sand box. My only suggestion would be a room for children to play.

    Braga is a charming small city. The trip to Dom Jesus is well worth making. We walked from the apartment and had a very enjoyable day. There is a great variety of places to eat or drink within a very short walk from the apartment.

    Intertesting port town with a huge monastery on top of a hill. Loved the restaurants and it is easy to drive to other areas of Northern Portugal from there. The weather was comfortable, too. Be sure to bring Euros for tram ride to monastery. We went there to rest and relax between our Spain and Portugal tours.

    Comfortable hotel close to the airport, nice friendly staff though waited for drinks, service as they are expected to multi task. Dreadful and expensive evening meal, poor quality. Breakfast expensive and equally poor quality!

    It's a small, quaint little town.

    It's a small, quaint little town. Everyone is quite friendly. It's also well curated. A lot of the citizens are multilingual which is quite amazing. I only stayed 1 1/2 day and arrived on a Tuesday evening and I'd recommend for ppl that are staying very shortly to maybe arrive on a Wednesday since quite a few restaurants are closed Monday & Tuesday

    Beach at Esposende too difficult to swim in due to pepples. Other beaches at Ofir and Apulia excellent. Limited supply of restaurants and limitless supply of banks!!! Surprised by the obvious wealth amongst the Portuguese people with holiday homes here. Very few estrangers. Not for sailors. Good for families. Some surprising sculptures dotted around the esplanade from 1997 one in particular near the San Lorenca fort at Esponsende.

    good selection of food places, nice beach and when the sun shines cant go wrong really. Slightly disappointed the surf was not bigger and its a bit crowded for comfortable surfing. nice for a swim though !

    This place gets a well-deserved 5 stars—no doubt about it! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, cozy, and totally like home. It’s huge, sparkling clean, and honestly… it looks even better than in the photos (and that’s saying something!). Usually with apartments that look this good, you think: “Yeah right, too good to be true.” But nope—this one actually turned out to be better than too good! It’s got everything. And I mean everything: coffee machine, iron, washing machine, dishwasher… you name it, it’s there—and all in tip-top shape. We were just the two of us, but there’s more than enough space for 4 or even 6 people to hang out comfortably. And the view… wow. Just wow. Need a room with a view? Look no further—this is the one!

    Vila do Conde is a charming town that is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of a large city, if that is what you are used to, or looking to get away from. There are many good restaurants in the area. We hired a car for the duration of our stay as we wanted to travel further afield whilst adding stops along the way and choosing the most scenic routes.
