I liked the location, close to Bistrita and to many other tourist attractions that are in the area( Colibita Lake, Sangeorz-Bai, Etc.). The rooms and bathrooms are really clean. The staff is very friendly and eager to help or answer all of your questions. There is parking available in front of the Hotel and if that is full you have plenty of parking spaces next to the hotel in a dedicated area. The food was good, we have arrived hungry and the staff was able to provide us with healthy and tasty food, for which we are deeply grateful. The breakfast was also good with plenty of food to choose from. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at Hoterl Poarta Transilvaniei, I will stay there in the future if the need arises and I will recommend it to other friends and family.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom

Situated in a beautiful place with great mountain and rural views, the Montana Resort offers great value for money. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was wonderful. The pool and jacuzzi are top notch and the water was perfect. I haven’t tried the sauna though, but will do so when I come back. You can also spend time with outdoor activities like basketball, football or badminton, and they offer a boat toor on the lake. The food at the restaurant is very good. When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded.
When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded. We found a good restaurant, Hanul Colibita, the food was good, Transylvanian specialties, acceptable prices, friendly staff. We went there to visit family.
We went there to visit family. Otherwise mot much to do or see( sorry). The whole city was dug up to re-do the road structure , so a nightmare to travel both by foot or car( done both).
