Breakfast- comes with your booking, unlike most the choices for breakfast are catered to everyone. Even down to mini ( breakfast ) pizzas for children. Check in - the entrance is something I’ve seen in films, it’s beautiful would be stunning when surrounded by snow. Reception was long winded and they were admit that they needed to photograph my British passport, however was unable to give a reason. Shown to our room. Room- there is nothing that has not been thought off when it comes to the rooms here. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are stunning, the view from our room was nothing I’ve seen before. Mini bar free to use with a selection of fizzy, water and some snacks. Plenty of hanging space and a laundry facility. Facilities- everything you need to relax after a day in the mountains wether that be in the summer and you wish to hangout in the outdoor pool in the winter after a day on the slopes there is the steam and sauna rooms to choose from ( 3 of them ) also a snow room for thouse so like a ice bath. Sun loungers and a few beds. Towels provided, Robes and slippers. Restaurant- plenty to choose from however the restaurant is a little pricey but the service was excellent as well as the taste. Brasov is obviously an old Germanic town.
Brasov is obviously an old Germanic town. The charming town centre is well preserved. Some of the Saxon walls remain.. Nice countryside around not to mention Count Dracula's castle nearby. Sinaia is referred to as the Pearl of the Carpathians. It's long been a destination for people in Romania, Eastern Europe and now Western Europeans and beyond. Plenty of things to do including seeing Pele's Castle, the17th century Sinaia Monastery, take the Tele Cabina up the mountain, Snow Ski in the Winter Time, read the Historical Placards in the Park (you'll learn Sinaia was the first electrified city in Romania) and pay your respects at the WWI cemetery.Guest review byMikeUnited States - 8.0

Beautiful place to escape to for some quiet, and just a 20-minute bus ride to the historic center of Brasov. It's also a quick taxi ride to a couple of caves and historical sites near Rasnov. Lots of hiking and a gorgeous spa -- basically, something for everyone. Restaurants along the main road/lake area play loud pop/folk music constantly, so if quiet is important to you, book further up the road. Be prepared that dining options are limited and a bit expensive as it's a resort town, but you have grocery stores and more restaurant variety nearby in the city for a pinch.Guest review byRachelUkraine - 10.0

Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. my main interest was in the Sf Nicolae Church of the Valachian princes, dating from 14th c, one of the oldest in our country and with great old frescoes inside and the ruins of a valachian princes court (Curtea Domneasca) nearby. there is still to visit "Manastirea Argesului", the church housing the remains of the romanian kings, but as it was completely rebuilt in the 19th century my interest for it's architecture is lower. Curtea de Arges is a small town very easy to get around. most restaurants are on the main street and I could find some take-away even in late evening. the town is a good starting point to cross the mountains on Transfagarasean, a high altitude and spectacular street over the Carpathians but also for a journey in the hill land below the mountains in the counties of Arges and Dambovita.Guest review byAndrei__FRomania - 8.0

See the historical town center and go to long walks in the nature right in the city - either on Cozla hill, Pietricica hill or near the river Bistrita (highly recommended). A nice and cozy city in the mountains, within 1-2 hours drive to multiple ski resorts (Transalpina Ski or Paltinis). The city has all the facilities of big cities, but is small and not crowded.
