The service was incredible – everyone was so helpful and kind, I started wondering if they secretly knew us from somewhere. They even smiled before coffee, which should be an Olympic sport! Beautiful city. I had the oportunity to visit the Museum of the Book dedicated to the great Romanian intellectuals of the exile, and also the Museum of History, with wonderful explanations about the history of Oltenia. lovely hour in the art museum. Christmas market is a bit basic and very expensive for what was there. Food incredibly expensive and not great - I normally love mici but this wasn't good.
