No information about the numbers of the bus routes at bus stops. It is diffucult to find the tourist information point that is located in the underground passage. There are no signs indicating places of interest. The people of Bucharest are very kind and helpful!!Guest review byAlina - 10.0

The hotel was warm, friendly welcoming and convenient. The shuttle to and from the airport worked well. The hotel was clean and there were helpful amenities such as tea/ coffee and water in rooms. The restaurant was good value with a varied menu , food was great, served promptly. All staff spoke English, and all were friendly and keen to help. Location was perfect for prompt connections to flights. There are good public transport links into the city too. There is no lift, but this was not an issue as staff helped to carry bags. lovely location and good communication to begin with, with the owner however when showing faults of the inside room they did not agree although there is proof. There is mould in bathroom and the smell is very overwhelming despite leaving the windows opened. I could not stay for more than the weekend with dust/dirt of the room honestly. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. Bucharest is an excellent city for architectural enthusiasts. The palimpsests of historical buildings, combined with the vestigial remains of communist architecture, make it fascinating. Cismigiu Park was a nice find. Many unusual Roman sarcophagi are displayed outdoors. Gothic feel in autumn, highly recommended. So, as an American, I'm viewing through a lense of someone who lives in a safe space (away from the cities of USA). Balotesti seems like a safe place to walk around and visit small markets (for food, ice cream, etc), see some WWI/II memorial, and be close to Bucharest, Otepini.
