There is a lot to visit in Bucharest! I would recommend House of parliament, Ceaucescu's house, Cismigiu gardens, Herastrau park. If you want to eat well and authentic Hanu lui Manuc and Caru cu bere are fabulous restaurants. If you want to see Bucharest at night buzzing of atmosphere then it has to be OLD TOWN. The airport is not great at all, the staff are not friendly, and the available food is terrible. the food is so overpriced for an airport and does not look fresh. In the Duty Free, the staff are on their phone and do not want to help. The toilets are disgusting and covered in faeces or broken locks. The hosts were extremely kind and responsive. They allowed our group to use all the amenities. I strongly recommend. We took advantage of the snow and made a snowman in the yard. lovely location and good communication to begin with, with the owner however when showing faults of the inside room they did not agree although there is proof. There is mould in bathroom and the smell is very overwhelming despite leaving the windows opened. I could not stay for more than the weekend with dust/dirt of the room honestly.
