Before I start I must point out certain facts. The hotel, is in the city centre, is far cheaper than the others nearby and was built 124 years ago. If there are any issues with the room and reported they are resolved quickly. The ambience of the hotel is its character. For the past 70 years it has been tied to a catering college for 15 to 19 year old kids, training around 1400 a year. They attend college 4 days and get practical experience at the hotel on the 5th. To stay at this hotel you MUST BE TOLERANT and have a desire to assist the younger generation get educated. At reception or in the restaurant there are around 10 students in each every day trying their best. The prompt and friendly service received, outweighs any issues. The kitchen has around 30 students every day learning. The quality of food is exceptional. If you are intolerant or self-centred this is not the hotel for you and you should stay in a ‘chain hotel’ paying the appropriate rate. It is a city with very rich history and old parts with good traditional restaurants, but at the same time it is a modern city with buildings that sometimes seemed as if I was in Dubai. You can walk in the city, in the parks or by the Danube all the way to Zemun. Nightlife is very rich, especially for the young, and you can find all kinds of clubs and music to your liking. In the summer you can bathe in the Danube at the famous river beaches. For those who have never been, it is worth visiting (and I always gladly return).Guest review byMarinaCroatia - 10.0

The place is so close to the airport. The shuttle service provided was fantastic. You need a car if longer stay and if you need to get around often. So close to city centre (car or bus). Few minutes from the airport but cannot hear the planes. The place is cosy with all of the amenities you need. Clean, fast wifi service and has full sized essentials in the bathroom as well! Everything was great - friendly host, clean and tidy accommodation. It had everything I needed. The area is quiet and peaceful. The only downside is that there is no parking directly on the street where the accommodation is located, but the helpful host showed us where to park 50 meters away. Vračar is a great Belgrade neighborhood.
Vračar is a great Belgrade neighborhood. Many good restaurants, walking distance to the city center and other attractions. Robusta is an amazing little coffee shop with excellent coffee; Kalenic is a traditional and well-known kafana that has delicious food; Fabrika is restaurant for wood-fired pizzas that are wonderful; Miam Miam was a surprise discovered on this trip that has fantastic Indian food. There's lots to do an see in Vračar. Also, Krunska and Topolska streets are considered to be two of Belgrade's most beautiful streets -- take your time and walk down both the entirely.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Definitely my favourite spot in this part of the world.
Definitely my favourite spot in this part of the world. An old Austro-Hungarian town, now a part of Belgrade. A mixture of Panonic Danube culture & food & the first, pretty calm, not very chaotic step into the Balkan. The walks along the Danube river are always very scenic. People smoking is a huge problem, thanks to American Tobacco, and we were advised 60% and more were hooked. Honestly you couldn't get away from it on the streets, in restaurants, hotels, everywhere, but thankfully not in our apartment block, though there were smokers on the footpath outside. There needs to be a huge public health and public education campaign, and the government needs to resist the tobacco taxes and money from lobby groups to concentrate on the health and welfare of its people.
