The views from the property are stunning! The cottage was cozy and spacious, with all the necessary appliances for cooking. The beds were comfy. But oh, the views! It also features a very clean and lovely pool where you can swim and look at the Fruska Gora. The hosts were kind. There are also many hiking trails that start just outside the property. Vrdnik is small city, 5km from resort. Take a short walk through the forest. There is a lot things to see. It is in the middle of National forest park, a lot of walking trails, great place for bikes. The city is not so loud as other serbian cities. In the city center during the summer there are some festivals with traditional musice and stalls going on (check the dates). Restaurants and bars are cheaper compared to big cities. If you are looking for something in particular (f.ex. car parts, building materials, shopping...) it is a good place, relatively close to croatian and bosnian border. We (my wife, two daughters, and I) stayed at Sava's place for four nights. We were greeted with warmth and kindness :) Sava and his relatives are such nice people. Their place is a peaceful house with everything you need to feel at home. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Vrdnik is a very nice place to visit, and Fruska Gora is close by.
