Our stay at Casa De Leela on La Digue Island was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, Namal, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The entire staff was incredibly supportive, friendly, and always willing to assist with a smile. The bungalow we stayed in was immaculate, spacious, and well-designed. The kitchen was fully equipped, which allowed us to prepare our own meals with ease. Both bedrooms were large and had direct access to a massive terrace, where we spent countless relaxing moments. The terrace itself was a highlight, offering ample space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The swimming pool, just steps away from our bungalow, was pristine and a great spot to unwind. The entire property is thoughtfully designed with lush landscaping, creating a serene and picturesque environment. Casa De Leela’s location was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful and away from the noisy areas, yet close enough to shops, restaurants, and takeaways. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. We also appreciated the added touches that made our stay even more special. They provided a gas grill, which we used to barbecue fresh fish we caught from the ocean – such a memorable experience! The hotel offers a seamless transfer service to and from the harbor, and having bicycles available to rent directly from the property was incredibly convenient for exploring the island. Casa De Leela exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-located, and welcoming place to stay on La Digue, this is it. + The beautiful and cool design of the chalet (maisonette style, open concept etc.) + Practical curtains to block the sun out of the sitting area if needed + Huge bed + So much space in general (for hanging clothes, to sit and chill, to cook....) + Amazing view, especially to watch bats and sunsets + No need to carry drinking water up the hill - it was provided by the host (12 litre containers) + The hill wasn't as bad/steep as some of the reviews say - if you are average fit, you can walk up without any problems + Kitchen equipment was very easy to clean (intact teflon frying pans etc.) and nothing was missing, you also have everything you need to wash the dishes + Having our own washing machine saved our trip :-) + Shuttle service from the ferry (small charge) + Friendly and helpful staff + You are not disturbed by anyone else, very secluded spot + Small swimming pool + Payment by credit card is possible, only extras like tourism tax and water need to be paid cash THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

The villa is fantastic and very well equipped with air con in the bedroom and a fan in the main living area. It was sparkling clean and very well maintained. We were very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the pool and a drink in the evening in the pool pavilion. The hosts are super friendly and hospitable, from arranging transfer to renting bikes everything worked just perfect. An added bonus are the 2 tortoises who showed up in the garden every morning. It’s a 10 minute bike ride from the house to ferry jetty, very easy and manageable! We would definitely be staying again when traveling back to La Digue.

Very nice bungalow, very clean, comfortable, it had everything you might need. Shaded porch, clean kitchen with all necessary kitchen utensils. The bathroom is also well equipped. Great internet. There was also an outdoor shower to clean your feet after the beach. Cottage is located in a nice garden. Host is very helpful and friendly. Kot Babi is located literally 2 minutes walk from the port. Good value for money. Great place. We will gladly come back :)

We had such a good stay at Calou GuestHouse. The room was big and very clean. The garden is soo beautiful. Tahiri is so nice and sweet, a very good host. The breakfast was excellent, they provide a selection of eggs (either omlette, scrambled, fried etc), fresh juice from mix of fruits, local jam, fruits (papaya is delicious) and something sweet (fried banana, banana cake, creole cake etc, everyday is different). We loved it.

Wonderful place! I can only recommend it to everyone! The hotel is in a very good location, close to everything, especially the National Park. In beautiful surroundings, cozy rooms, well-kept beautiful garden, great pool, fabulous view from the beach rooms, very kind and helpful staff! Cozy restaurant, above the sea, with romantic dinners and often live music! Everything was great! :)

Hotel has great location. You have in front of hotel beautiful beach and from vila view to ocean. Hotel give you more than you expect from 3star hotel. I very appreciate help from hotel staff when we forgot there early morning a bag and ferry was close to departure - it was amazing 🙏

All staff were very helpful and friendly! Perfect location - very close to ferry port, bakery, shops, restaurants and beach! Good size of the rooms with air condition - cleaned every day! Very comfortable bed! The breakfast is simple but tasty! Everything was perfect!

Staff were very polite. Our room was very spacious with private garden, it was cleaned daily. On check out they stored our luggage. TIP: There is communal toilet and shower behind the dining area, you can use them after check out if you've gone the beach beforehand.

The location of the hotel is excellent, not too far away from the port but also close enough to good beaches on the island. The level of service through the property was very good, special mention to the staff at the restaurants that were excellent throughout.

We had a nice stay at the Villa Veuve. The breakfast was good and well served. The beds were comfortable. They offer new bikes to rent. The staff were very kind and polite. We definitely recommend the place.

A very nice villa, well-equipped with everything you need. The host was very friendly and brought us eggs and fruit. From the Villa Creole you can easily reach Grand Anse, Anse Source d'Argent and La Passe.

The host was beyond amazing and helpful really we are so blessed he helped us with everything bike taxi everything 💕 we really thank him for the help this place as well is super well located

I liked everything about it. Cozy cabin. Everything we needed. We were given a welcome juice on arrival. We rented bicycles from the owners. It was about 20 minutes walk to the marina.
