- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 522 reviewsHotel is located very close to ferry (~700 m which is walking distance). They sent a car to meet us which was very helpful. Also, they helped to deliver luggage back to ferry. Beach near hotel is not the best, but there is a very nice “Anse Source d'Argent” beach rather close (2 km). You need to pay for the entrance around 10$, cause it’s more like a park with lots of sightseeing, beaches, giant turtle zoo, etc. There is a very nice Italian restaurant at the hotel (I heard that one of Chefs is Italian – specifically for Pizza!!! – NICE!) I tried some cocktails at the bar. They have very good selection with some local specifics: e.g. La Digue Ice Tea instead of Long Island Ice Tea … 😊 PS We left the hotel early in the morning and didn’t come back, expecting luggage at the ferry. To my surprise I met a reception lady which rushed her best to return 5000 $ that I forgot in the safe … (facepalm hard) My bad, I don’t remember her name … ☹ But thanks a lot!!!Guest review byAzamatKazakhstan
- From US$324.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 2,153 reviewsWe absolutely loved our stay at La Digue Island Lodge where we celebrated our wedding and honeymoon. The location was like a dream — our cottage just 30 meters from the shore was beautifully decorated, surrounded by flowers and palm trees, with stunning views of the ocean and nature. The hospitality was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from the welcome wine in our room to the lovely decorations after our beach wedding. The resort itself felt like a cozy retreat, perfect for a romantic getaway. If you're looking for a magical place to celebrate special moments or simply relax in paradise, La Digue Island Lodge is the place to be. We can't recommend it enough for its serene atmosphere and outstanding service. We advise everyone to spend at least 5 days in this great hotel and on this beautiful island, we will definitely be back! Big regards from Stevan and Asja from Serbia!Guest review byStevanSerbia
- From US$302.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 119 reviewsGreat location in the middle of the island; the property is beautiful: so exotic and you can see they take a lot of care of the garden; rooms were spacious & clean; friendly staff - we got welcomed with cookie & ice tea and they made sure our room is ready as soon as possible - they arranged cleaning while we waited- that was great; breakfast was really good for Seychelles standards- omlettes, pancakes, fruits etc, so worth getting it; we also rent bikes at the hotel - they were a bit old but ok - you dont need more that city bike for la Dingue; we had great time and would come backGuest review byKarolinaPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsThe selling point for this lovely self catering accommodation is definitely the view and the upside down layout. The dining/kitchen area has incredible views over Praslin. Sun rise and sun set create a beautiful backdrop. The kitchen is well equipped. Washing machine is a huge bonus. The large bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage. A shop with all basics is located nearby. Fredo the owner and all other staff were very friendly and helpful. They kindly arranged bicycles for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.Guest review byDominikaUnited Kingdom

- From US$392.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 540 reviewsthe hotel is a lovely older quaint hotel in a beautiful position with a lovely beach in a sheltered area (especially for Dec/Jan) just outside town on La Digue & really lovely garden - but the staff were our absolute highlight! Lindi, who’s been at the hotel for 32 years is phenomenal and it shows throughout her staff. We would definitely recommend PATATRAN & would love to return!Guest review byKirstinSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 193 reviewsA quiet area, lots of lush nature around. One morning, after a night of rain, there was an amazing frog concert. Very comfortable bed, lots of pillows, hot water in the shower - everything you need! In the evening you can sit on the veranda and watch the sky with millions of stars.Guest review byLembeEstonia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 194 reviewsThis was our second time visiting, and we enjoyed it as always. It's in a good location, as it's in the middle of any direction. A quick bicycle hop will take you to a more lively part, but it's very peaceful for a good night's sleep. Beds are really big and comfy.Guest review byMihaSlovenia

So easy to spend a few days here, visiting as many beaches as possible via bike, walking or boat or just relaxing in the garden of our guest house. It was not as expensive as we were expecting based on what others had told us; the food was delicious wherever we ate and there are two well stocked supermarkets for snacks and drinks!Guest review bySamAustralia - 10.0

Great island - really laid back and everyone on bicycles to get around. I did the hike to Anse Marron which was difficult due to the terrain but totally in nature and the natural surroundings - I loved it. This is definitely not for the faint of heart as we were in caves waiting for the tide to go out with 10 seconds to get up a rock kind of deal but man it was cool. For a longer Seychelles stay I would stay here for sure.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
La Digue is an absolute gem in the Seychelles and one of the...
La Digue is an absolute gem in the Seychelles and one of the most picturesque islands we’ve ever visited. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, where time seems to slow down. The island is small and easy to explore—bicycles are the main mode of transport, adding to its laid-back charm. The beaches are truly breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and powdery white sand. Anse Source d'Argent, in particular, lives up to the hype—it's like stepping into a postcard. Beyond the beaches, the island has lush greenery, granite rock formations, and a warm, welcoming local culture. What makes La Digue even more special is how untouched and authentic it feels. There are no big resorts or heavy crowds, just a perfect blend of nature, tranquility, and friendly people. Whether you're relaxing on the beach, cycling around the island, or watching the sunset by the ocean, La Digue is a place you’ll never forget.Guest review byDecy GPhilippines
