The staff of the hotel I only have one word: Legendary. These people know what service is and I want to highlight specifically Mr Melvin. How he improvised when we needed some food, knowing our activity couldnt go through, that is what you need in hospitality.
That man is your Mascotte, he knows how to treat people correctly and help them out when needed.

Clean and comfortable place. Visited "Old town" now for first time and it was nice. Cafeterias were not open, but nice old houses and beautiful church really worth visiting. In Luleå shops are closing very early on Saturday and are closed on Sunday, it would be nice to do shopping longer. The lakeside location was idyllic We travelled to the accommodation on a short snowmobile ride through the forest. The northern lights were visible for two nights of our short stay. Jokkmokk is surrounded by beautiful scenery, lakes, rolling hills, forest. You sometimes pass reindeer on the roads. One day would be enough to walk around Haparanda's features, along the river, the WWII bunkers, and the 1900 Railway Station bult in the Romantic style. If the neighbouring Finish town, Tornio, was included in a visit and you had a car, two days may be warranted. Kiruna is a beautiful place with extraordinary winterscapes during the day and even more so on a moonlight night.. The cherry in the top was the extraordinary experience of being blessed by aurora corona and aurora borealis sighting every night we were there ..
