The staff is very friendly, very helpful and everything is done with so much care and love for the environment and the guests. There's a lot of walking.
There's a lot of walking. There's very little parking, so you need to be able to walk everywhere. Beautiful area! We took the pletna boat to the island. There are 99 steps to climb when you get there to see the church, shop, or see the view. Costs extra to go into church and climb to the top. A lot of shopping and restaurants in town. Great place for a Vintgar gorge visit - this beautiful natural spot is really worth a visit. After visiting the gorge you can take a nice hike to Bled lake with its island and castle, the trail is quite easy with many nice views.Guest review byLenkaSlovakia - 2.0

Visiting Bled was very good.
Visiting Bled was very good. It offers several interesting sites, and the people are very friendly towards visitors and generally speak very good English. We recommend visiting Vintgar Gorge and Lake Bohinj. Ljubljana was a bit disappointing, particularly the castle, which is just a shell filled with exhibitions. People there seem to be less welcoming to visitors than in Bled and not as well versed in foreign languages. .Guest review byGERHARDUnited States
