We had a wonderful 4-day stay at Hiša Trelc in Slovenia with two families, each with two kids, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is cosy, super clean, and incredibly comfortable – everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kids loved the space, and so did we! Very nice hotel in the heart of the mountain, just next to the upper station of the gondola. The staff was very polite and helpful. Keep in mind to call them when you are at the barrier, so you don't pay entrance ticket to reach the hotel.

    Amazing view from my balcony and from the house in general. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner as well. Just keep in mind that it's nice to inform the host beforehand about if you'd like to eat dinner. The room was clean and it was cool that they had a common room where you could play table tennis. The house is surrounded by beautiful forest trails and it's only a walk away from the Krvavec park and mountain peaks. I easily conquered a peak called Veliki Žvoh during my stay, for example. The only thing you have to take into account is the fact that it is kind of a remote location, so it would be smart to rent a car or a bike. Otherwise you gotta walk 8 km down to catch the bus from Cerklje and up the mountain again every day, if you want to visit other locations and cities ;)

    The staff, especially Rudy, were all wonderful: friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and cute. The restaurant had delicious meals, traditional with a modern flair. We loved the hot tub! The breakfast was served in a cute picnic basket and was delicious and plentiful, with a mix of preshly cooked items, bread, yugurt and fruit. We also loved the additional tourist tips that Veronika and Rudy gave us.

    The room was clean and comfortable, being cleaned everyday. Even though it was toward the street, the noise was at a low level and I did not have any complains about it. But first of all the personnel is friendly and ready to help if needed. For me, the breakfast was very good and varied. There is also an underground garage as well as an opened air one.

    Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...

    Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit. I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

    Slovenia on the whole is one of the most beautiful countries we have been to. It was very lush and green and has beautiful mountains with little villages tucked away in between. WE love our visit to to Ljubljana, Lake Bled and Postojna caves!! Keeping in mind that this particular hotel location is quite far from the tourist attractions but extremely close to the airport.

    Beautiful small Old World Town.

    Beautiful small Old World Town. Off the normal tourist path, so not crowded! Charming. Easy to walk around. Local pub had live music! Stayed just one night (before our flight) - could easily have stayed longer if our schedule had permitted.

    Kranj is perfectly positioned city. It is very close to highway, it is close to mountains (25min from ski resort) and is only 2h drive from the sea. It has beautiful old town. The capital, Ljubljana is only 30min drive.

    Simona made our stay truly magical.

    Simona made our stay truly magical. We got care that we have never experienced anywhere else. She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!
