2 nights is the perfect time to spend in the city. It is beautiful and i would highly recommend. Lake bled is also amazing. Slovenia is great.
Slovenia is great. Alps on the east, mediterranean sea on the west, same country, distinctively different climate on each end of the country. Beautiful nature, castles, lovely valleys with rivers and waterfalls, unspeakably beautiful historic castles etc. We stayed in Domzale only, did not go out to the city, but the location is great. Very nice city. All attractions are within walking distance. Train station close by for train/bus to Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge which were great day trips from Ljubljana. Castle, Caves, River Walks.
