Katja and her brother are amazing, really kind, friendly and make you feel at home ☺️ the entire property is really charming, the rooms beautiful and clean, the view is super nice..everything was just perfect! United Kingdom- We liked everything about the guesthouse and the room. We used it as a base for visiting Logar Valley but also driving the scenic route nearby.
- Sonja was extremely helpful and kind, such a great host.
- Super tasty breakfast with locally produced break, honey and jam.
- Clean, comfortable room in a location surrounded by mountains. Take the time to explore the area, even on foot there is a river 5' away for a nice stroll along its bank.

Our hostess, Barbara, was very welcoming and we were upgraded to the suite on the top floor which was very spacious with a living room and a separate bedroom on a mezzanine. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in our 2 month journey around Europe. The breakfast which cost 12 euro pp was excellent and well worth the money, and we ended up having dinner in the restaurant both nights as the food was very, very good, the wine and beer list extensive and there was a choice of menu of the day or al a carte, both good value.Guest review bySandraAustralia

An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
