AustriaWe enjoyed our time there very much. The room was clean and looked out onto the valley, staff was absolutely fantastic and the food really lovely. For New Year's Eve a cake was baked especially for us and it turned out to be one of the best ones we've ever eaten. Everyone was so kind to us! We would definitely return.

SloveniaWe travel a lot so we've stayed in a bunch of different accommodations throughout the years. Valentina, the owner, was by far the most accommodating, flexible, friendly and kind host we've every had the pleasure of staying at. We highly recommend staying here. It's very peaceful at night and close to lots of hiking trails. We unfortunately only opted for the breakfast on our last day and regretted it immediately - it was so delicious with lots of really tasty home made food that we wished we would have gone for breakfast on our first day as well :)
The parking has ample space and the whole place is very clean.
We will definitely come here again the next time we visit the area.

One of the rare cases of more beautiful in real life than on the pictures! Wonderful apartment with picturesque view over Luče. Well equipped, well maintained, and extremely clean. 5-10 minute walk to the center. Perfect departure point for exploring the stunning nature and surroundings. The host and her dog are amazing. Responds quickly to messages and is very attentive. We booked just bare minutes before our arrival and still she managed to arrange a perfect reception for us. The breakfast she prepares every morning is delicious with meat from their own farm. We also loved the cakes. There is a big garden in front of the house near the river where you can sit very nicely, there are a lot of things for kids to play with as well. The room was cute and cosy and very clean. They treated us like kings. Everything we asked (instructions for mountaineering, hiking and attractions) was explained exceptionally from them. Breakfast was delicious! An absolute must. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
