These apartments have been totally refurbished to a very high standard and have just opened following covid. The location is excellent, only 5 minutes from city centre and similar time to the Old Town. These is a large shopping mall only 3 minutes walk away which caters for all shoppers and includes a comprehensive eating area. Staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive to any questions that I had. The room I had was very modern and contained all the facilities including a kitchenette area which was fully equipped. I particularly enjoyed the combination of lighting features that had been included. The bathroom was superb with good lighting and a large walk-in shower. A heated towel rack was also included.

Amazing place in a very good location in Košice. Staff is super friendly, communication efficient and easy! Checking in was contactless without any issue, instructions sent spot on and all codes worked perfectly. Apartments are very spacious, well maintained and super clean! This is my home away from home every time I visit Košice and I will continue to recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you lovely staff and keep up the good work!!

    The hosts were super helpful: they know the area very well and are able to give up-to-date information and recommend places to go (or suggest modification to our plans) as well as the best way to get there (thus saving us valueable time we would have spent travelling). The place is surrounded by forest and there are no sounds of traffic, so we slept really well. Breakfast is tasty and when the weather is good, you can take it outside in the freh air and sun. The extra touch to our stay was that the hosts offered to give us a better room in another building at no extra cost since our stay coincided with a big group of people arriving on the same day as us and the original room we were supposed to be in was in the bigger building taken by the group. I mean, the room was still there and unoccupied, but the hosts decided to give us extra privacy which was very considerate.

    I am regular guest to the hotel so I know what to expect. Location is fantastic, rooms are spacy and interstingely designed, stuff is very thoughtful & helpful, parking spot is secured for free on the street in close proximity of the hotel, breakfast is outstanding and possibility of free spa is just wonderful addition - eventough I recommend calling in advance if they have it open during your stay. Throughout the years of my returing I can report that the level of service is maintained on the same high level. If you are considering stay in Košice I can open heartedly recommend staying in this hotel.

    First, I'd like to note that we've got a higher class cottage - Javorina Comfort - for the same price (because of an error in a booking system). This comfort cottage has everything you need (refrigerator, electric stove, dishes, microwave). There are few nice restaurants nearby and one small grocery shop. Sucha Bela trail starts right behind the cottage. The camping territory is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend this place.

    The room was great, had everything we needed. Great shower and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was right below us and still, it wasn't noisy or anything. At the restaurant, the food and beer were lovely, and the setout is very nice. Oh and breakfast, yum :) The staff was very helpful with everything. Highly recommend this place if you would like to wind down.

    The central section is a delight of course but a stroll...

    The central section is a delight of course but a stroll through the back streets is also worthwhile for the atmosphere (who expects to find a great bell mounted on an insignificant corner) and architectural oddities. Kosice is not all that great on English ( or other western European languages) but leaving taxi drivers out of the equation you can usually find someone to answer questions. The eateries are good here but best are the smaller ones. Biggest gripe? Not getting the best directions about leaving by train to Hungary - which in Sept 2025 was actually by bus to the border.

    These clean and modern apartments are stunning.

    These clean and modern apartments are stunning. They are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catered stay. The host left lots of personal touches which were very much appreciated. We chose an upstairs apartment for the balcony and a better view. This was the case, however there is still a lot of building work being carried out opposite which kind of ruined it. The check-in was easy and explained well via a message. But unfortunately because this address isn’t registered on Google Maps yet, it’s a bit difficult to find. It is actually down an unmarked gravel lane. Easy once you know this, but the host didn’t mention this beforehand. The area its self is perfect for exploring the National park. We did one of our walks from the apartment it’s self. The apartment is going to be part of a holiday complex which will be very luxurious when finished. I think that it is reflected in the price currently charged (unfinished). We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

    A great small town!

    A great small town! Lots of shops and a great point to travel to Paradise park and castle in Spissky Podhradie by train... Great stay! Not hard to get around and a tourist office is a bit forward, on the left street from the stay... Nice! I recommend it!

    The entire Spissky Region is absolutely beautiful.

    The entire Spissky Region is absolutely beautiful. You can visit the large Castle ruins or explore the amazing Slovak Paradise National Park. All the villages around are also very interesting and you can see the majestic Tatra mountains nearby.

    Dedinky is a very nice and calm town at the foot of the hills of the Slovak paradise. The lake is great for swimming (though the water is cold) or for renting a boat and exploring the lake a little. The Dobsina Ice Cave can easily be reached by train, and there are several nice hiking tours starting from Dedinky.

    I had an exceptionally pleasant time in Košice, a beautiful city with wonderful, well-mannered and educated people, many of whom speak widely spoken foreign languages. The beer is excellent, the food is very well cooked – even the Italian dishes – and the terraces in the city centre offer both comfort and the chance to admire the architecture of the old merchants’ and noblemen’s houses. Košice has numerous museums, churches, and beautiful places to visit. I recommend the East Slovak Museum and the Aviation Museum, as well as St. Elisabeth’s Church and the museum of the former prison with the Executioner’s House. I will definitely return to Košice!

    Hrabusice is an excellent base for hiking at the Slovensky Raj or High Tatras. It is also close to many historical sites. We loved staying at Ubytovanie at Emka. It was our second time in three years. It is a short walking distance to Restauracia u Hudaka that serves freshly cooked delicious meals at a great price.

    I loved Spisska Nova Ves.

    I loved Spisska Nova Ves. The old part of the town is very pretty and it is a short train ride to Poprod and from there to the mountains, which are beautiful. I wish I'd been able to stay here longer. And I loved the art gallery. Not big but some really interesting exhibits. Spisska is easy to walk around and the restaurants are great and not expensive. The only thing I would avoid is the person in the park trying to convert me to their religion. But that is not Spisska's fault.

The hike includes metal ladders and metal platforms through the gorge. (Longer more adventurous hikes can be found to the north of the national park). The reservoir by Dedinky village has boats for rental, alternatively you can go for a swim (after a hike)... the water temperature is refreshingly cold!

    Small town with not much to do.

    Small town with not much to do. It was a stopover destination on the way home from a trip to rural slovakia. In one or two days pretty much everything can be seen. We didnt use public transport, there were some trams and buses going around but the place is so small they are not really needed. The old parts of town are very nice, clean and well preserved. Lots of restaurants and bars with good atmosphere. However stepping outside of the historic part of town, everything looks like it is still the same way as the soviets left it. brutalist concrete block buildings, half falling apart. The nice part of town is very nice, the not nice part is not nice.
